Life saver
I inherited my mom’s cat, Patches, 3 years ago when she unexpectedly passed away. Patches is now turning 19 soon and is experiencing senior cat issues such as arthritis, bad teeth, dementia and incontinence. She is now at the point that she doesn’t even know she’s peeing. She pees every time she walks and in her sleep. As a last resort I ordered Hartz cat diapers and I’m so glad I did. I’ve found the size chart to be accurate, they absorb great and Patches doesn’t mind wearing them at all. Thank you Hartz for a great product and thank you Chewy for making it quickly available and affordable.
they work
I have a cat with neurological problems. He tries to make it to the litter box or pee pads but sometimes he just has to go where he is. These diapers work well. The only problem is that when he poops I have to clean him up and he doesn’t like that. Once he goes I know I can leave the diaper off for several hours or until I have to leave. I no longer have to search around the house for possible pee spots.

Yes! A Great Solution
I have a very old neurologic cat named Pumpkin. Her spinal cord injury means she doesn’t have control of her bowels and bladder. I had never gotten diapers for her because I thought they would impair her movement even more or that she would hate them. I was wrong! She lets me put these on and take them off with no issue. She moves well…or as well as she ever does and I don’t have to follow after her with carpet cleaner. She acclimatized within minutes. The diapers don’t leak and keep her bottom dry. Pumpkin is right in the middle of the size chart between small and extra small at 7 lbs. I ordered extra small and it seems perfect.
Working so far...
It is great sadness that I have to diaper my 20 year old cat. She has extreme arthritis and is quite thin but the adjustments built into the diaper is allowing a good fit. No leaks so far.
The worst part is getting the tail not only through the enlarged tail hole but keeping that tail in there while your fastening the tabs. It probably gets easier with practice just like dipering a baby.
Totally worth it!
My cat has a seizure disorder, and has trouble getting his legs to cooperate in order to get to his handicapped litter box, so we use the diapers when no one is home to help him into the bathroom. They work wonders. No more coming home and having to scrub the rugs, and mop the floors!
There’s diapers actually work
Who knew you could put a cat in a diaper? I was desperate for a solution to developing incontinence in my 17 year old cat, who the vet describes as ‘difficult’ which is a euphemism for ‘he bites’. I ordered these ready to write them off as a long shot but shockingly he lets my husband put them on him from behind while I scratch his chin and love on him from the front. The hardest part is getting his tail through the hole without angering him, but the little slits help. We definitely have to widen the hole by using the little cuts to make it bigger, which is a thoughtful detail that is easily done with your fingers, no scissors required. Once you practice getting the diapering method down they work great and have made our lives a bit easier with fewer accidents to clean.
Works really well
My 17 yo cat go into some food he shouldn't and it caused some booty leakage for a few days. I had previously tried other diapers (for dogs) but they were mainly for pee and so his poop would just ooze out of the tail hole. These did no such thing! they were properly fitted and worked well. He's 7-8 lbs for reference
Very Helpful!
My cat has chronic diarrhea which has periodic terrible flares, that result in him “leaking” from his behind. These are a life saver- they fit around the tail base well so that nothing can spill over. We usually catch it to remove them before he goes in the box, but the few times he has gone in the box with the diaper on it has held his urine and stool well, with minimal mess. We’ve tried a few other brands, and he definitely prefers these the most! For reference, my 11lb cat is a size small, but is right on the edge of not fitting in them, so if your cat is much larger, I’d recommend sizing up.
Great for Cat with Cerebral Hypoplasia
My baby has Cerebral Hypoplasia (CH), Wobbly Kitty Syndrome. His motor skills make him very wobbly. This means that making it to the kitty litter on time is a challenge. The diapers have been a lifesaver. They DO stay on!!!! In all fairness to those that might have issues... if my kitten goes to groom himself, I have to sometimes make sure his "tingy" is covered back up or it can be a #fail. However, it is very rare that it does not go right back in place. I love these diapers, but I wish they were sold in regular stores, too! Thanks, Chewy.

Leaked right thru
What a mess. They leak out the sides and the back and are useless.
