Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Performs as expected
Flea comb is durable & made of quality material. The teeth are strong enough to work with long haired cats & blunted enough not to hurt short haired cats. The grip is made of a rubber material that helps the human keep a good grip on the comb. With a long haired cat this is necessary otherwise you’ll find the comb slips your grip & gets stuck in the cat’s hair when they attempt to escape. Item performed as expected at an inexpensive price.
Indispensable and inexpensive
Excellent quality flea comb, which also de-sheds well. My cat comes running when he sees me take it out, he loves being groomed with this thing! Well made and with a convenient handle size, it is easily worth twice the price!
Great flea comb
Unfortunately my doggie has fleas, so I ordered this comb. It’s really nice, long handle, tight teeth. It does a great job on getting mats off the dog too.
Good quality. Wider rounded handle has a better grasp with a comfortable cushion material. Cost savings in comparison.
Dog loaded with sand fleas
My dog gets loaded with fleas, this comb was best I have ever used. Also good to use for removing dander when washing dog.
I have 3 pets: a domestic shorthair cat, a pomeranian, and a cur. All 3 recently got fleas for the first time so I ordered this comb, among other flea removing/preventing essentials. This comb worked for all 3 of my babies, collecting fleas and eggs. No problem whatsoever with the change in texture of all 3 fur-types, this comb did it’s job. The comb is solid, very well made. It’s comfortable to hold, thanks to the rubberized grip. The comb itself is made of metal and has rounded tips so it glides comfortably against their skin vs scraping and hurting them. It’s a great price and works like it should. Highly recommended!!
I have a recent infestation from an in-laws roommate's dog. My cat is an indoor cat so we did not treat her for fleas, but I was fostering a dog that I treated since he used the bathroom outside. She has thick fur and a tortoiseshell. We did not realize her having fleas until she stopped using her litter box. This comb has helped with after giving her Capstar and combing through.
My cat had a bad case of fleas and our house was infested. I bought this and also a can of Knockout. The Knockout got the fleas in the house, and this comb got a lot of them out of his fur. I still use it from time to time to see if he still has any of those buggers.
This flea comb, which we just use as a kitty comb for grooming, has rubber on the handle, so we no longer shock our poor kitty during grooming. It has made his grooming time much more like a love session.
After getting a kitten with fleas, this brush has been reliable in finding the fleas that flea dips don’t kill. It’s a good way to check to see if the infestation is over or not.
