This stuff works, and well, don’t get me wrong. But the smell is so strong it literally had me coughing and hacking and choking. It needs a warning label. Don’t recommend using around animals or young kids at all.
I just used this spray in a shelter with small kittens in a kennel nearby. I sprayed it only on the floor and in an empty kennel, but the kittens reacted very badly to it. I’m still not 100% sure they’re going to be okay. They were desperately trying to get under each other, sucking on each other, and generally acting like they were very stressed. I felt so awful. Apparently the lemongrass and cedar wood essential oil is not safe for kittens to inhale, but it never says that on the bottle! It also never says to remove pets from the room before spraying. It might work to kill fleas, but they need to remove the “safe for pets” messaging on the bottle!
I received my product with a broken sprayer and half had leaked out. It works alright nothing to go crazy about especially if it comes in broken.
I bought this on 5/11 at 8pm I put in the bathroom and the kitchen to be precautious … is 10:45pm we found 16 dead and dying fleas in the floor, I can absolutely recommend this product.
Seemed a bit toxic. I don’t really like like
Had a flea issue when my indoor cat spent a few days outside. I read the reviews on this product and thought it was worth a shot. Before using this I washed all my clothes and all the bedding. I sprayed this all over my house before bringing the laundry back inside. The odor is very strong, not terrible but strong. I also bought Advantage II drops for my cats. I would say there are certainly less fleas but they are still present.
So we have been battling a flea problem for about 2 months now. Nothing has worked, we even had an exterminator spray our house 3 times and still had fleas. My daughter gets bit sooo bad. This spray is the only stuff that seems to work and get rid of them. I was skeptical at first but it really does work good.
First time, ordering this product. Guessing this product does what is expected, or, Chewy would not have available. I am writing this review for the Packers at Chewy! I opened the box, this product was on top, laying on its' side, enclosed in a sealed plastic bag, filled half with the contents. Not a leak! I would like to THANK the PACKERS for sealing the bag, otherwise, many foods would have been useless. All contents was contained in the plastic bag. Not only did the PACKERS do an excellent job, also, Chewy must be using up-graded packing materials. THANK YOU
I don't get it! Where are all these positive reviews coming from? (Many sure seem to be phrased similarly, don't they?) But this product has not worked at all for controlling flea infestation in my home. Treated specific trouble-areas repeatedly this past week to no effect. I've used similar products for years and thought I'd try this one for a change in aroma and possibly an increased longevity in results. Followed directions to a 'T' and definitely sprayed a sufficient quantity. The product had zero-to-minimal effect on the fleas and the pungent odor was quite objectionable for my nasal passages. To top it off, the poorly designed pump spray trigger bites into your flesh so much from its sharp edges that it becomes painfully uncomfortable to use within just a few pumps from one's index finger. Sorry 'Chewy'! - I will continue being a loyal customer and your customer service rep was aces in response to my complaint this morning, but I feel a responsibility to advise others that this particular remedy for flea control in the home is a flat out miss! Maybe it's effective on ants or spiders, but the fleas here weren't phased a bit by it.
Does not work, and My dog hates the smell, and after spraying a few times, I still find creepy crawling Fleas jumping around on my pup. Not effective against fleas at all
