wonderful product
One of the most important aspects of any flea and tick collar is its ability to actually work, and in this regard, the ProMax collar doesn't disappoint. Within a few days of putting it on my dog, I noticed a significant reduction in fleas and ticks. After a couple of weeks, they were virtually non-existent. It's worth noting that the collar seemed to work better on ticks than fleas, but overall, it did an admirable job in keeping these pests at bay. One of the standout features of the ProMax collar is its ease of use. Simply buckle it around your dog's neck, and you're good to go. No messy monthly treatments or pills to remember, which is a huge relief for both me and my dog. The collar is also adjustable, ensuring a comfortable fit for dogs of all sizes. It's waterproof too, so you don't need to worry about taking it off during bath time or outdoor adventures. Safety is paramount when it comes to any product used on our pets, and I appreciate that the ProMax collar is designed with this in mind. Works well & lasts a long time
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I have Chihuahuas and they like to run along the edge of the woods where they are prone to pick up ticks. I put this on my girl, Chloe, easily and just cut the rest off. Simply separate it after you remove it from the plastic pack inside the tin it comes in, slide the end through the closure and gently tug until it’s the desired length, and cut the excess off. It stays in place really well. It does have a bit of a vinyl like smell to it that seems to fade after a few days. It works for us, as I haven’t seen any fleas or ticks on my girl.
Super easy
I recently received an offer from Hartz to try their new Flea & Tick collars. First, the collars were super easy to place on the dogs and i like that their customizable. I also like the fact that if for some reason the collar got hung on something, the collar would break away rather than choking my dogs. These collars do not have any type of odor so that is a plus as well. I cant wait to see how the dogs are doing in a few months with these new collars. It feels much safer using these rather than a topical chemical for fleas & ticks. So far, I'm very happy with these collars.
Affordable and effective
affordable, effective, and convenient tool against this year's flea population explosion. we don't usually see any ticks in this area, so I can't speak as to that. I am a little skeptical as to whether this will truly work for 6 months, but we will see. One of my dogs did have a little irritation at first in the collar area, but considering the alternatives of oral flea medications or topicals, it was not enough to be of concern. My dog that has longer fur in the collar area did not have any issue. Fleas have been really bad in our area this year, and I think that just switching to this different product has helped us for now, as our old product wasn't working that great anymore.
Works for my dog!
We gave my dog flea and ticks pills for years but became concerned over her health since she got older. I was curious to try the Ultra Guard ProMax Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs by Hartz. This collar provides 6 months of protection; kills fleas and ticks and repels mosquitoes. My dog was using it for a couple of weeks, and we haven’t had flea or tick problems. I’m very happy with this collar and would recommend it to other dog owners!

Great
I recieved this item free for my honest review. Honestly, I was skeptical because of the strong smell coming from the collar when I first opened it but im assuming it was because the carrier left it directly in the sun because I no longer smell that odor. The collar works greats my dog doesn't have any issue with the collar. She is tolerating it amazingly. It is definitely protecting her from the fleas and ticks. She loves being outside in the grass running and playing and I have yet to see one flea or tick since using this collar. I would definitely recommend!
The collars are okay
I used these collars on my 2 dogs. One dog has longer hair and the other dog has short hair. My dogs liked the comfort of the collars. I think they were just okay because my dogs kept biting fleas while wearing these collars. I was pretty disappointed in these collars. I was really hoping that these collars did last 6 months like they are supposed to so I could save a lot of money. Unfortunately that wasn't the case.
Collar does it’s job!
My dog has been using this Hartz Flea/Tick collar now for 11 days & it is definitely doing it’s job. Living in a rural area, I’m always concerned about fleas & ticks, but so far, I haven’t found any on my dog. I just don’t like the strong smell emitted from the collar. My dog didn’t like it either. It took almost a week for the scent to dissipate. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this Hartz product.
