What a beautiful, stylish and comfy little bag for your small dog. I purchased this item as a gift for my friends little 6 pound Pomeranian. He loves it and so does mom. This is a high quality item made strong and well. Looks to hold up to a 12 pound dog. Very nice to carry your little dog safely and comfortably. Very affordable too! And that's a plus!

Bought it thinking...

I could always hand sew one of the opensings since I wanted a roomy purse type carrier for a 7 lb ChiWeenie. But took one look at the bottom and thought geez, now

I could always hand sew one of the opensings since I wanted a roomy purse type carrier for a 7 lb ChiWeenie. But took one look at the bottom and thought geez, now I will have to hand sew/secure the cushion looking at material used. My mistake reading reviews thinking I could make it work once pup was in--- he's after zippers and the carrying straps are exactly for hand carrying, no over the shoulder even snugly, possibility after all. Sigh. I can't find a purse carrier that offers stability and ease in & out.

I did not realize that the top was almost completely open, with no way to enclose my cat in the carrier. This works OK for small dogs - but not for my cats. I wanted

I did not realize that the top was almost completely open, with no way to enclose my cat in the carrier. This works OK for small dogs - but not for my cats. I wanted something more comfy to use when taking my cats to the vet (only time they get in the car, so not a happy time for them anyway). I would advise NOT advertising it as appropriate for felines.
