I like the idea of "tenders" being tender. These are soft-ish, but not crumbly. They're a bit like rubbery cardboard. The dogs eat them, but I don't love them. Of

I like the idea of "tenders" being tender. These are soft-ish, but not crumbly. They're a bit like rubbery cardboard. The dogs eat them, but I don't love them. Of course I don't have to eat them! Still, I would rather have something that looks and smells more like meat and less like ... well, pink plastic. I won't buy them again.

I love these treats that my mom buys from Chewy. They are not the hard jerky kind (that I also REALLY love). But because they are soft and crumble easily, they are never a choking hazard - even if I sometimes don't chew them completely. Also they are lower in fat and have added glucosamine and other things that are good for my health. If you are looking for a long-time chew, these are not for you; but if you just feel like a lean meaty treat that is also good for you, then these are great.
