Living in Florida, we get tons of migratory birds passing through, so I’m always looking for something that can keep up with the constant traffic at my feeders. These Heath Outdoor Products All-Season High-Energy Suet Cakes have been perfect. Each cake is individually wrapped, which makes refilling super quick and clean—just open and drop it into the feeder. The high-energy blend is a huge hit with the birds. I’ve seen everything from cardinals and chickadees to goldfinches and other colorful songbirds that only stop by during migration. It’s been such a treat watching new species show up for a snack. The easy-open packaging really does make it a hands-free experience, and I like that storing them in a cool, dry place keeps them fresh even in Florida’s humidity. Between the convenience, the quality, and how many birds it attracts, this suet has definitely become a staple in my backyard setup. I’ve had this hanging outside for about a week and a half. So far to my knowledge, no bird has eaten any of it. It still looks just the same as it did the day I hung it out there. It has a variety of seeds in it that look like the wild bird seed mixture that I usually purchase for my regular feeder. I have no idea why they haven’t eaten any of it. The seeds are held together in a paste-like substance. It is soft to the touch and will get all over your fingers while putting it in a hanger like mine.

The suet holds together nicely even though it’s been out in the rain. The birds are happy and so am I. I am also a big fan of the packaging and not having to touch the suet itself.
Great no melt option for warm weather.

When i put them out we were having a warm Santa Ana weekend with temps in the high 80s low 90s the Suet cakes held up great, and there was no melt at all. My wild birds were very interested in their new feeding option. I would not hesitate to recommend Heath zoutDoor Products Suet Cakes. Enjoy
