Two storied apartment building for wild birds

This is a large outdoor wild bird "apartment building" with six nesting boxes on either side. Each box has it's own private entrance and balcony. There are two levels with three boxes on each level on both sides of the structure. The building is intended for Martins per the information sheet provided by the company. However, I think many of the song birds that live around our house may like the structure. We'll see who moves in next spring. I intend to paint the "apartment building" later in the winter and install it on a telescoping pole in the yard once the ground thaws in the spring. I'll be following the advice of the company on the location and height of the pole. The building is intended to be on a telescoping pole that is 12 to 18 feet in the air with a minimum of 25 feet of space on at least three sides of the structure. The company stresses these factors are important for the safety and well-being of the birds who will be using the house to nest. The overall construction of the structure is good, but there are a few areas where the wood split or chipped. Those small imperfections shouldn't impact the usability of the structure for birds and they can be easily sanded and repaired before the initial installation of the building. I intend to take it down for fall cleaning and winter storage every year, so it can last for what I hope will be many seasons to come. I will try to update my review with new pictures after I install it next spring. Hopefully, there will be pictures of feathered occupants to show. :)

I haven’t been able to try this birdhouse out yet since it’s winter, but I’m already really happy with it. It arrived fully assembled and ready to mount, which I truly appreciated — no extra work or tools needed. The wood feels solid and well made, and it looks great right out of the box. I’m looking forward to putting it up in the spring and seeing the birds enjoy it. So far, I’m very pleased with the quality and how easy it was to get ready for use.

This beautiful, large, and well-constructed martin house is a pleasure to have. It's made of durable, weather-resistant, and handsome cedar, and surely will last a very long time. The openings to the individual rooms are constructed to make it difficult for starlings to make their home in the bird house. It's too cold and the ground is too hard to put a pole up for the bird house at the moment, but as soon as it warms up as spring approaches, the bird house will be put in place. Can't wait to see the birds flock to it!

The house consist of 12 rooms and unlike others, the roof constructed to be removed for easy cleaning. I live in the south where we have several martins that visit each year and I am looking forward to them using their new house.
Gorgeous estate for birds
Within a few hours of putting this home up for our birds in our yard. There was activity at it. I make sure we feed birds year round as well. I can't wait to see

Beautiful bird house but will have to wait until Spring to put up. We're in PA and the ground us frozen. I'm hoping we'll get a lot of swallows or martins.
