Unfortunately my dog wanted nothing to do with this product, but the ingredients were awesome and it would probably make a less picky dog very happy. I used it rehydrated
Unfortunately my dog wanted nothing to do with this product, but the ingredients were awesome and it would probably make a less picky dog very happy. I used it rehydrated as a food topper and my dog refused to eat it 3 of the 5 times I offered it to her, which were in the morning when she most certainly was hungry. The food had little to no odor even after being rehydrated so maybe it just wasn’t appealing to her. The rehydrating was very frustrating as well, I mixed it as the bag directed and it wasn’t fully hydrated after the allotted time or after stirring and letting it sit for quite awhile. Using warm water helped but I had similar issues even then.

Awesome dog food
So this product was a really nice size nugget. I added 3 tablespoons water to 1 ounce of food and let it sit for 5 min. Then I added to the side of my VERY picky
So this product was a really nice size nugget. I added 3 tablespoons water to 1 ounce of food and let it sit for 5 min. Then I added to the side of my VERY picky dogs fish. As u will see he went tight to the new food and devoured it then ate all his reg. Dinner. Been adding a little daily and he loves it and seems to really agree with him. Love it.
My dog likes this as a meal topper
I decided to use this as a meal topper for my dog's kibble. It's a little too expensive for me to feed it as an entire meal. My dog loves meal toppers so it works
I decided to use this as a meal topper for my dog's kibble. It's a little too expensive for me to feed it as an entire meal. My dog loves meal toppers so it works perfectly for that. The pieces are a little small but that's ok. Looking at them they look like they'd be soft but they're more on the hard side. I like to crush them and sprinkle the pieces within my dog's food. Sometimes I crush them too hard and they turn into to powder but that's ok. I also give them to my dog as little treats. They actually make good training treats because they're small pieces. Overall my dog seems to enjoy this and I'm sure she'd enjoy it as an entire meal too but I can't afford that.
Very picky eater!
As much as I wanted Baxter (70 lb pittie mix) to love this he didn’t like it. I was impressed by the ingredients and how easy it was to get his meal prepared.

I was impressed by the ingredients and how easy it was to get his meal prepared.. you just need to add warm water and it makes a nice gravy. I can say he is an extremely picky eater and I really wished he wasn’t. This would have been perfect for him (and me- so convenient) had he at least even tried it I think he would have liked it.

He can kind of take it or leave it. I know he likes it. It just doesn't seem to be his favorite - not sure if he has a favorite, as of yet. I do like him to indulge in Heckova! because I like the ingredients and I feel it is safe for my little guy to eat.

This is a very easy way to add some extra nutrients in his diet while making meals fun for him again.
