It is PURRRRFECT for cats too!

We have an OMLET catio that we've semi attached to the house. For years they've always had a tree stump or some kind of step to jump down from the tunnel attached to the window. It's always been about a one(ish) foot drop from the tunnel to that next jump down. When we found out out our 3 year old has really bad osteoarthritis, we didn't want him to have this impact up or down any more so I started looking for an alternative. When I found this ramp, I didn't realize how brilliant it was going to be. The handles fit into the cage on either side of the tunnel and it makes what was a big jump into a really smooth transition. The width makes it so that even if one of them parks it on one of the steps, there is still enough room for the other cats to get by. They are PLENTY sturdy enough for all of them at the same time even - but soft enough that it's forgiving to old bones and young bones that are old before their time. We also have a thicc girl who didn't go out much because of the jump and now she's spending a lot more time out there so it's been a wonderful addition to their space. Worth every penny.

The stairs are light weight; and the treads are heavy canvas. My 115 lb shepsky was fine with them (his favorite place on our farm is going up the barn's steep, narrow stairs into the hayloft); but my 105 lb. GSD did not feel secure with these stairs (he won't go up the hayloft stairs), so I had to get a different set for him that is much more stable, with hard surface treads. (Its also much heavier in weight, and much larger folded, so not as convenient.) The stairs being reviewed are on the right looking at the attached pictures. They do also extend higher to the camper door level.)

Great product- didn’t work for us

EASY TO USE, FOLDING AND UNFOLDING

Our 100 lb lab had no issues going up and down with this ladder and the ladder was well constructed and didn't move while he was on it.
