The oil's calming effects can last from 1.5 - 3 hours. This depends on many factors like your dog's weight, age, amount administered and if they had recently eaten. It is best to administer Calm Dog 20 minutes before stressful situations and before mealtime.

Got this product for my dog who previously used a similar item and it smells horrible and my dog will not even touch it

Not what we hoped for.

Have a dog that gets anxiety this time of year..always been really leary of cbd products.. on a whim we read reviews and thought we would try this.. NO CHANGE. It does not soothe..comfort..calm..or do anything but make him bark more to constantly fill his water bowl.. only thing it did was make him thirsty any time he takes it. (Tried it 3 times..each time was the the same.) I would not recommend this to a friend. Was a waste of hard earned money from a long shift at work.

Do not recommend the calm

My dog hates it. I have to hold him down and force him to take it. I have used the Hemp Well Relief and he loved that. It has an awful smell so I imagine the taste isn’t that great either

Horrible smell

I ordered this in the hopes that it would help my dog conquer his anxiety. Unfortunately, he won't go anywhere near it because of the smell. It truly does stink and the smell of it will travel throughout whatever room you open it in. If it smells this awful to be, I can't imagine what my dog smells. I tried putting it in his favorite food (made a hole to hold the liquid) and he spat it out immediately. I was able to get him to take the smallest amount, but did not notice any difference in his mood. Very upsetting as the price is too steep for it to just sit on the shelf in the bottle.

Horrible smell

Unfortunately, the product has a horrible smell that makes my dog run away the second I take it off the shelf. If it smells bad to me, I can't imagine how bad it is for him. The price is way too steep for it to just sit on the shelf. I've tried it in food and treats but he spits them out and runs away.

Pretty good

CBD oil has worked for my dog's storm/separation/loud noise anxiety in the past. When I ran out I searched chewy to see if there was anything I could try (so I can add to my auto-ship). This oil has worked well so far. The first time I tried it was during a mild storm and his anxiety was increasing (panting, shaking, pacing), he calmed down within about 2 minutes. Good purchase.
