Description

Put down the nail clippers and pick up the Hertzko Electronic Nail Grinder with USB Charger. Because let’s face it, most animals don’t enjoy nail grooming, and this tool is designed to make it as pleasurable as possible. Using a Diamond Bit Grinder, it’s safer and more effective than a traditional clipper because it reduces the risk of going too short. And since it comes with three size openings to accommodate all pet sizes, you only need one, even in a multi-pet household. The super mute motor gives off little noise and vibration, which puts animals at ease so you can quickly get it over with and go back to the fun stuff.

  • Electronic Dog Nail Grinder

I am sure this is a great product as I have tried it on my own nails; however our 6-month old Sheprador is scared to have him even bring it close to him, but doesn't mind the noise it makes. Ho-hum......We purchased this as his nails are dark and are afraid to try and clip them the normal way. But very difficult to hold a 54-lb pup down one leg at a time, if he doesn't want to. Also love the way to recharge it as well; but now just have to find a way to use it!

  • Worked Well... ONCE

    By on

I purchased this after reading the rave reviews... and it was certainly quiet, like most reviews say, so that was great. And it worked well the first time I used it. After using it for the 3rd time the bit was so dull that it wouldn't even file a human fingernail (and yes, I tried it). I have a Boston Terrier so her nails are not thick and she is fairly cooperative, but after sitting there for 30-60 seconds and nothing happened I tested it on my own fingernail and it wouldn't even shape it. Very disappointed and I will certainly be returning it.

  • Veterinarian quality without the price

    By on

Just as sharp & powerful as the ones used by the vets in our area & costs the same as one trimming session. I love how quiet it is & after getting my 4 month old German Shepherd used to the noise over a week she has no problems with it. She has tough nails & this trimmer rounds them out with no pain, no fus & in no time. Just make sure you 1st get your pet acclimated to it over a couple days before trimming their nails & 2nd allways clean the guard & diamond head after each session to keep from gunk in it up & causing an unpleasant experience & smell.

  • Nail Grinder

This is a very nice nail grinder. Very quiet, lightweight and no cord to worry about. It takes a bit for your animal to get used to but worth the price for sure.

  • Not Loud but Effective!

    By on

This is great! My dog is easy when it comes to cutting nails but clippers make me nervous! This grinder is great and doesn't freak her out with a loud noise. Plus I love that I can charge it with a USB. This also had great reviews and came highly recommended on other websites. I was skeptical because it was also cheaper than others but I am thrilled with my purchase. For reference - my dog is a 38lb mix with strong nails!

  • Easy to use and quiet.

    By on

My Golden used to squirm and fight the nail grinders because of the high pitch whine the motors made. This unit is quiet and seems to be less frightening to my dog. I've only had it for two weeks but have slowly initiated a routine - 4 times- with treats and short grinding sessions which seem to be acceptable to her. Good overall unit.

  • Much quieter than the other two I tried.

It's still hard to get my cat to allow it. I've used it on my own nails first to show her. I can get one or two claws filed in a sitting. She was curious at first, but once used on her she tried to escape. I find grinding much better than clipping. I can soften the cat's claw tips so they don't get caught in carpeting or on my clothes, and also so I don't get scratched, but leave her the majority of their length. Cats use their claws as tools. They hook them around doors to open and use them in hunting and playing. When the vet tech clipped her claws more than I requested, she was noticeably different. She seemed not entirely herself as part of her was compromised. She started biting a lot It's still hard to get my cat to allow it. I've used it on my own nails first to show her. • Terrific Product

    By on

Have enjoyed having a product that makes shortening my two Malteses' nails so easy and is so quiet that they don't get all stressed about it! It does a great job and is easy to use and clean. I do wish that it came with a convertible charger so that I could plug it in to a regular outlet to charge it, but otherwise I really like it.

Worked well once my pitty got used to it. Hopefully it will not take as long next time.

  • Very Quiet

Even my little Chihuahua mix who is skiddish sat while I did her nails. Took about 2 mins for her to get comfortable with what we were doing but after that she was fine. Great time and money saver!!
