Birds can consume as much as 20% of their body weight per day, so be sure your bird receives plenty of inTune, provided freshly every day. If wetted, be sure to remove uneaten foods daily, especially when it becomes dry and hard. Always maintain fresh drinking water for your pet bird.

Too big!
It's my second time getting pellets wat too big for the bird species they are intended for. I'm so upset. These pellets are huge for canaries and they don't perceive
It's my second time getting pellets wat too big for the bird species they are intended for. I'm so upset. These pellets are huge for canaries and they don't perceive them as food. The pellets for canaries should be the size of millet or smaller, and these are about 3-4mm. They would be too big even for my cockatiel.
Good But Too Big
The price was right and the ingredients seemed nice but the pellets are way too big for my finches, all they did was throw them around and didn’t eat them. This

This is more like parakeet or cockatiel sized. Even then I prefer smaller granules compared to this for them. I’ll be going back to the other pellets for them now. Luckily I have some African soft furs that liked them so they at least didn’t go to complete waste!

I drop a star only because the the pieces are pretty large for a canary/finch pellet (more like cockatiel/lovebird size) and while may canaries do eat it, they also drop quite a bit as they try to bite into them, making it more wasteful than other pellets. I'm not sure that smaller finches, or birds who aren't already familiar with eating pellets in general, would take to these larger bites very well. I also have larger birds and will feed most of these pellets to them, opting for a small-sized brand for my canaries.
WAY too big for finches!!
I have Lady Gouldian finches and I try to mix two different types of pellets together for them since ingredients always vary. None of them would touch this pellet

I have no idea if it has to do with the taste or smell....but visually this pellet is 2-3x larger than their normal pellets so that also might have something to do with it. Might be better received by larger birds, but my Lady Gouldians drop this and eat the other brand of pellet.
My lovebirds only want to eat this pellet and it’s also one of the best nutritionally.

Trying to find a replacement for Brown's Tropical Carnival Finch and Canary pellets which have been unavailable for months. My experience with InTune is the same as the first reviewer--my birds won't eat this. I have canaries, 4 kinds of finches, and Brazilian Cardinals and none of them will touch this. Even the wild birds leave it in the bottom of the dish after eating every other scrap. I didn't get it from Chewy.

The pellet has great ingredients and I think it is one of the best on the market. Most of my birds really like it. Just wish it was not so expensive

My canary would not eat it. I had to go back to the bird store to buy theirs. Even the wild birds will not eat it !!!!!
