ppm min is Parts Per Million and is equal to that of mg/kg (Milligram/kilogram). The glucosamine level is 500 ppm min or 500 mg/kg minimum and the chondroitin sulfate is 1000 ppm min or 1000 mg/kg minimum.

We have 3 dogs, all different sizes. Is it okay to feed a small and a medium sized dog this food too?

Don’t change what’s already good

My Gsd had been on this food (the larve brown kibble)for a long time- tolerated it well- bought a new bag- hills had changed the kibble size and also the formula-

My Gsd had been on this food (the larve brown kibble)for a long time- tolerated it well- bought a new bag- hills had changed the kibble size and also the formula- my dog wouldn’t go near it- especially after she ate the first bowl out of the new bag and continued to vomit for 2 days- whatever hills changed, it was not tolerated and definitely refused to be eaten - had to throw out a $90 bag of food!

Changed the recipe in this food

This formula has been changed without me knowing, I called the company to confirm. The kibble size was changed and yes, they said they changed the recipe as well

This formula has been changed without me knowing, I called the company to confirm. The kibble size was changed and yes, they said they changed the recipe as well. My dog who has a sensitive stomach got diarrhea immediately after starting the new food which stopped as soon as I quit giving it to him. I was pretty upset without them notifying the customer that they had changed the formula.

Ability to walk better

After reading positive feedback, we started him on Hills mobility and it has completely changed him. He is not the dog we brought home 10 months ago. The SPCA was going to label him unadaptable if we did not adopt him. Hills Science Diet mobility was all Blue needed! He is the most gentle and loving dog!

The kibbles were slightly larger than a pinball--and even for my large dog, they were difficult to chew. I've never seen kibbles this large. I ultimately pre-soaked them to make them more edible.
