My dog loves these!

My dog absolutely loves these!! An added benefit is that when it gets too small you can soak them microwave it to becomes a cheese puff snack that my dog equally

Does not get soft during chewing and fractured my dogs tooth

Unlike higher quality brands of Himalayan chews, this cheese does not get softer while the dog is chewing it. It just breaks off in shards which made my dog throw

Unlike higher quality brands of Himalayan chews, this cheese does not get softer while the dog is chewing it. It just breaks off in shards which made my dog throw up and more importantly cause a tooth fracture because it was so hard. We had purchased some Himalayan chews at a farmers market (for much more money) and they were amazing. They were soft enough that you could easily dent it with your finger nail, but I wanted to find something cheaper. These chews are SO HARD, even after an extended chewing session and since it has a tendancy to break off in shards, which sound a lot like a tooth breaking, even keeping and eye on my dog was useless because the sound very much becomes expected. I just happened to look at her tooth during a brushing and noticed the damage. It's getting extracted in a few days. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

Broken and moldy

When opening the package 2 of the bones were already shattered into multiple pieces. Upon further inspection another two had very small spots where mold was forming

It also looks like these chews splinter into small sharp sections which could be hard on the GI system. Not sure if it’s just this manufacturer of the product but I haven’t had this with other brands I have purchased previously.

Long lasting chews

I have 2 boxers, an 8 year old and an 8 month old who are absolutely obsessed with these. I had to order in bulk as they're constantly fighting over these "cheesies"

I have 2 boxers, an 8 year old and an 8 month old who are absolutely obsessed with these. I had to order in bulk as they're constantly fighting over these "cheesies" as I refer to them as. Please exercise caution and supervise when giving these to your dogs though- my 8yo will swallow them when they become smaller and will spend 24 hours puking and eating grass. When they become small you can microwave them and they become biscuits so you don't have to waste any product!

Manufacturing issues with these

I, and my dog, are big fans of Himalayan chews and have purchased them many times from Chewy and from this brand. Something seems to be wrong with the manufacturing

I, and my dog, are big fans of Himalayan chews and have purchased them many times from Chewy and from this brand. Something seems to be wrong with the manufacturing of these and they cleave off like slate or mica into thin and incredibly sharp pieces. They do not break apart into digestible or chewable pieces. You can even hear it cracking and popping apart from the other side of the room. In the hundreds of dollars I’ve spent on chews in the past, this has never happened. I contacted Chewy and they were apologetic and sent a replacement box, however the issue also happens with the replacement box. I called the manufacturer to alert them, but no one ever picks up, returns a call, or answers the emails I sent. For the safety of your dog, I don’t recommend buying from this brand until they are able to address the manufacturing issues that are causing the chews to break into dangerous shards. Try from another brand, but don’t risk your dogs gums or digestive system with these until the safety issues have been resolved.

It's as if they took 4 XL chew and cut them in half vertically, then sell them as 8 pieces. Rip off in my opinion.

Serious Chewer

These are great and safe if you have a serious hard core chewer! One of the few things she doesn't destroy in minutes. Keeps my 72 lbs year old lab puppy busy
