Are these AAFCO certified? What kind of treatment is the meat subjected to make sure it’s safe?

HOLI treats are for supplemental feeding, not as a complete meal, so there is no AAFCO certification. Regarding safety, HOLI products are heated to 165 degrees Fahrenheit and held at that temperature in order to kill pathogens. Additionally, the final product is tested for pathogens prior to packaging.

Why is the fat so high

HOLI rabbit treats are 100% rabbit. In addition to muscle meat, our treats do contain marrow which is responsible for the brown color and higher fat content.
