My 10-year old Golden had an attack of some awful autoimmune sickness last summer. It was painful to watch her being barely able to walk, but thanks to our vet, she pulled through. We gradually stopped all the meds, and now she relies on Yucca powder only. So far so good. She does not mind the taste - I mix it with a teaspoon of wet food. In fact, every morning she makes sure that I do it just right.
Dog allergies & pain
So 1 dog is on apoquel for allergies. Trying to cut down to half pill a day. Tried everything, diet, sprays, cream nothing worked. Now I sprinkle yucca into food
So 1 dog is on apoquel for allergies. Trying to cut down to half pill a day. Tried everything, diet, sprays, cream nothing worked. Now I sprinkle yucca into food and it seems to be working!! My other dog has pain from dislocated disc in back. Along with other supplements, I sprinkle half a teaspoon on his food and he seems more relaxed which implies less or no pain. He was always very tense and jumpy but definitely less since giving yucca!!! Would highly recommend to others. No obvious side effects.
Time will tell

I ordered this product after my dog Meatball was diagnosed with a herniated disc / degenerative disc disease. Within 2 days of starting this supplement, I noticed some improvement in his healing process. All 3 dogs seem to enjoy it, will continue to be purchasing through chewy!
Dog gets sick

My poor Shepard has been suffering for awhile with itchy skin. He was scratching himself constantly. The vet had me change his diet, gave him medication, then wanted him to go to allergy vet specialist. When I researched dog allergies I read not much really helps dogs, until I ran across a couple of articles on yucca. I bought it hoping it would work and It did! My Sheppard and I are soooo happy now. He didn't like the smell at first and didn't eat it so I let the food sit for a day...he finally ate and got use to it. So don't give up!
Wonderful for Arthritic Pain in Dogs

This stuff STINKS.

After, I tried "Spirit Essences" - both "Breath Easy" and "Vaccine Detox." What a miracle!!! Chewy, you should be selling THIS stuff! He hardly coughs anymore. Improvement was IMMEDIATE.

They wouldn't even go near their food bowl with this mixed in. I wish they would eat it my one suffers from bad asthma and I can't Medicate her I was hoping this would help her. The kitty's gave it 2 paws down for taste
