Love and trust this brand for both dog and cat food, and it's not nearly as expensive as some other brands with similar claims. Yes, it there can be a lot of breakdown of the clusters that turn to powder (would be nice if there was a feeding guideline for that) but it's not too hard to do a little deciphering to figure out how much to feed. We add hot water to the clusters, let it absorb, and become a brothy, moist meal that our dog loves. We do the same for our cats with the cat clusters, but that's another review ;)
This is awesome, my dog things he is getting treats. Actually we use them for his treats. He is excited and does his tricks before we ask him to. It’s so cute. He is guessing what we want for him so he gets a treat faster.
The food my dogs enjoy. I don’t mind paying a lot of money for a healthier food however I have a huge problem with paying a lot of money for food by the pound when 1/4 to 1/3 of the bag is literal dust. This company needs to either lower their price or make sure they dust is removed before packaging.
Although it is edible and liked by our dog, half of it is powder. The beef version is worse. You're paying full price for half a bag; you can't feed them the powder and it gets wasted.
The first time I purchased this (Chicken flavor), I found that way too much of the product had disintegrated into powder. This was over a year ago, so I decided to give it another try, hoping for an improvement. I purchased a small bag of the Turkey flavor, and was pleased to see it held up just fine. I went to re-order and this time selected the Chicken flavor. Don't know why there's such a difference between flavors, but the back of Chicken clusters had the same problem as the one I purchased over a year ago. I understand some of the clusters turn to powder at the bottom of the bag, but this was only about 1/4 of the way through. I love Honest Kitchen, but it felt like I was throwing money away with all this unusable product in the bag.
My dog was having an upset stomach for about a week and this food helped settle her stomach quickly. She's about 50lb so the small bag did not last long, but she ate all her food happily. I would order again
I like it because it's pure food. No meal or by products. Only the best will do for our new Yorkie puppy. I don't care about cost if it's the best and she loves it. It smells great too!
This is the only dry food our Hamish will eat. Believe me when I say we have tried them all and this is the one he continues to go for.
My dog loves this food. Highly recommend. We have no issues with any of the food being powdery.
Our Border Collies love the Chicken clusters. They didn’t like the beef as well. Chewy’s service and delivery are so fast.
