Good food, bad packaging

My cat loves her new food! The only downside is the packaging and I would switch to a different brand because of this if my cat didn’t love the food so much. The

My cat loves her new food! The only downside is the packaging and I would switch to a different brand because of this if my cat didn’t love the food so much. The wet food comes in a card board box that can be annoying to pry open compared to a standard can. Additionally, it’s hard to get all the food out of the crevices of the box which is frustrating considering how expensive the food is and I don’t want to waste a single drop.

All three of my cats love this food! I've added it as a topper for their lunch (only meal without their regular wet food) and they always scarf it down. I was worried

All three of my cats love this food! I've added it as a topper for their lunch (only meal without their regular wet food) and they always scarf it down. I was worried about one of mine as she can have a sensitive stomach when it comes to new food but we haven't had a single issue with this stuff! And there are no chunks in it, completely smooth! If your cat needs puréed food or just don't prefer chunks in their wet food, they'd love this.

My three cats senior, adult, and kitten enjoyed the flavor of this food. They ate it with no problems. I like that the product was a combo of proteins and contained clean ingredients. I am not a fan of the packaging with the consistency of this product. Each is fine on its own, but when combined the product is difficult to get out of the paper packaging without making a huge mess and wasting food. If the food were a pate’ consistency I think the carton would be better, or if the package were a squeeze tube then the mousse would be better.

The texture is perfect for her - not too chunky and not too runny. We’ve finished 2 cartons and now she knows when the sound of the serving dish and spoon and comes running! The packaging isn’t the best, as it is difficult to spoon all the contents out with the square corners. Closing back up is great (if you following the directions on opening) so you don’t need a separate lid or container.

Gentle on my super seniors tummy. Found this item just in time as she is preferring smoother food types. Love that it is human grade ingredients. She loved it so much that I also bought her the other two flavors. (No stinking cans to deal with. I just cut the box top open & pour in her dish. Then add a little warm water inside box & swoosh around and mix that into her mousse.) Will definitely keep buying these mousses for her!!

My cat liked it, but there was so much in the container, she didn’t eat it all. It was a thick creamy texture and she was able to lick it right up. I saved half of the box the second time I gave it to her and put it in the refrigerator. She didn’t like it cold so she waited until it was room temp to eat it. I didn’t know if I could leave it out at room temp once it was opened.

All nine of my cats LOVE this stuff!! I had never even heard of Honest Kitchen when this arrived, but now I hear about it a lot... from the cats who want more! I'm very glad that it comes in small containers, as it's very rich, apparently, and they tend to scarf it up too quickly. but with a herd eating, they can't get too much at a time, so it works out well. I suspect I will be buying more, but only as a treat!
