they would rather starve it appears. Trying to get your pets on a kibble that's good for them (or appears so) is as hard as getting your kids to eat their vegetables. I tried both their grain free and with grain recipe and they just aren't very interested. Even with a topper. One will even wait two days before eventually eating some of it. All I can think of is it must smell and taste bland. I was really hoping I could get them away from the "can" food and give them something that is better for them, and not as messy, but no dice. The ingredients look good and I like that their cooking process is "less processed" but doesn't matter if the boys won't chow down on it when I put it down. Because of my food allergic cat, I can't leave it down for them to eat whenever they want, so it's a problem if it doesn't interest them enough to eat. As others have mentioned there does appear to be an issue with food crumbling to dust. There wasn't a lot in the "with grain" variety, but I have about a third of the "grain free" bag left and am running into the "dust".

Not sure if my dogs like it. They sure make a mess because the kibbles are still big, even for the “small breed” they are pretty big kibbles. Then one dog (18 months old) started scratching his skin and developing spots. I think we need to switch his food to the beef kibble.

I have three little dogs to feed. I am attempting to find something that all three will like and is a healthy choice for them. I currently make home made food and usually add some kind of kibble in there to assure a healthy diet. My problem is that they are so picky with everything I get. There has been a lot of trial and error with them. I ended up donating the food to another family who will eat anything.

Dog food

The kibbles are not crushed probably because it was delivered in a box. The older bag has crushed and powdery and I threw quite a bit

At 80 I have had a lot of dogs and sadly I fed them what was out there. When I got my Corgi pup I had done my research and will only feed her home made food and this food. I mix it together. As an old RN I am sad that I never gave a thought to the dog food, or the processed foods I gave my kids. Look at the ingredients listed, better to pay more for food than pay vet bills.
