Holly our dachshund enjoyed the food. I liked that the small bag made alot of food. It had a pleasant smell and Holly seemed to digest it well. It went in and out of her with no issues. Heres the but...its not very convenient. Alot of times traveling with her feeding can get tricky and i feed her in the car i really do not want to be mixing food thats the onky reason for 4 star review. I could make it before hand but i worry about the consistency if it sits for awhile because she tends to get car sick sometimes and doesn't eat right away. I would recommend this because its lightweight smaller bags and you can adjust the thick and thinness of the food and that i can use a smaller amount for a topping ingredient. But she really enjoyed it and that should my main concern. So i pirchase again and highly recommend.

Surprisingly good food!

My yorkie is a VERY picky eater. She rarely eats from her bowl but will eat from my hand. This dehydrated food didn't look like anything she'd want to eat but WOW!

My yorkie is a VERY picky eater. She rarely eats from her bowl but will eat from my hand. This dehydrated food didn't look like anything she'd want to eat but WOW! She really enjoyed it! Since it requires water to reconstitute, I started making it thick so that I could roll it into little "treat balls" (even though it was actual food). Then, I can hand feed her the little "treat balls" and she eats it readily. Not all dogs would need this process and will likely eat it from their bowls just fine. But it's been great for my little picky eater! I finally feel like she's getting enough food now! Thank you!

The ingredients of this food are really good. And I am giving it 3 stars because I think it would probably work for younger puppies. It did not work for my year old puppy even though it is appropriate for puppies up to 18 months according to the package. Mine did not find this food appealing and she is not normally picky. As a pet parent I tried this due to the ingredients and had in mind a different consistency when I read it would need to be rehydrated. I did not picture a 7 lb bag of powdered food with no way to seal it for freshness and no consistency to the contents. Again, maybe for really young puppies and introducing them to dry it would make a good mix in, but it did not pass the test with my older puppy.

It took a little more than the suggested 3min to thicken up after you scooped the food and then added the appropriate amount of water. It wouldn't be a good option for large dogs b/c you have to use so much, I'd think you'd go through the box quickly. It's also not for anyone super busy since you have to calculate the ratio of powder to water, stir well, then let it sit for a few minutes. But the dogs enjoyed it. I even tried it on a sick dog who wasn't eating well, and he ate it wholeheartedly.

Best dog food ever!

My two girls are extremely picky with their food. One will pick and turn her nose up at anything I’ve offered in the past. The other will just go a day without eating

My two girls are extremely picky with their food. One will pick and turn her nose up at anything I’ve offered in the past. The other will just go a day without eating once in a while no matter how much I try to make her dry food more appealing. I mix this food in with both of their food, and now they’re begging for meals and gobble it up immediately after I serve them. It also smells so good that I wanted to try some, but opted out. I recommend, especially if you have a picky eater on your hands like I do.
