Himalayan salt is, by far, one of the better sources of salt for your equine. It doesn't fall apart when it gets wet like a regular block does. I used to put it in my horses bucket and put grain over it and they lick it while they eat and it doesn't disintegrate. These horse treat ones are my favorite. I just tie them to the fence with some bailing twine and it keeps my toddler of an OTTB entertained for hours.
put this on their treat ball and its a favorite toy!
The Himalayan pink salt is both my horses favorite.
My horse has not touched this salt however he hasn't touched his salt block either. I have to feed him loose salt for some reason.
My son's show steers love these. We have them hung in the stalls, and they play with them during the day.
my horses just loved this salt block. they went immediately to it. I never saw them do that before
It’s salt and my horse loved it but I don’t know where that stinking horse put it I can’t find it HeLp its been 3 months
The rabbits love it!! 2 or them used to lick their own pee and now they dont.
I can't fully say whether I'd recommend this item or not as my horse has yet to lick it. Perhaps I should have gone with an alternate flavor. At first I thought she was afraid of the ball on the bottom of the hanging salt holder, which I ended up having to remove because of a faulty screw....but even with removing the 'scary ball', she still hasn't touched the lick. I've tried leading her to it, even acted like I was licking it myself; she sniffs it and walks away. Still giving 4 stars because it is not anyone's fault my horse is picky, it's still great quality salt!
I have two miniature horses that love these, but when the rock salt is gone they go after the rope till it's destroyed! So keep the salt & rope coming! It's great!
