The foam is very thick so it's easy to tell where it's been sprayed. According to the instructions, the can is sprayed from about 3 feet up (the foam goes everywhere if it's sprayed closer to the ground), which is nice if it's a dry or set in spray but less convenient if it's a fresh mess. Bending down to blot, then standing back up to spray, waiting a minute, then bending back over to blot felt like unnecessary steps. It does appear to work on fresh messes though, and my dog hasn't been revisiting areas treated with this product so it does appear to get rid of the smell enough. Overall, it appears to do what it sets out to do. The cap did arrive broken though.

We have three cats and two dogs. You can imagine there is often something to clean-up so I'm always ready to try a new product. There has been a stain on my carpet

We have three cats and two dogs. You can imagine there is often something to clean-up so I'm always ready to try a new product. There has been a stain on my carpet for a bit. I sprayed this on and forgot that I did it. Came back the next day to vacuum and it's almost non-existent and all I did was spray it!

Great for vomit or number 2 pet accidents

I was able to clean a number 2 pet accident from my woven rug and once it dried, you can't even tell where the spot was. I am very pleased with the ease of application

I was able to clean a number 2 pet accident from my woven rug and once it dried, you can't even tell where the spot was. I am very pleased with the ease of application and how quickly this penetrated the carpet fibers and got rid of the stain (and smell) with minimal scrubbing needed. I do not know how well it would work for urine smell.
