Decent muzzle for gentle horses

This grazing muzzle is lacking a bit. The halter part of it is thin nylon strapping like a backpack strap. There is a clip closure on the cheek, which is great,

This grazing muzzle is lacking a bit. The halter part of it is thin nylon strapping like a backpack strap. There is a clip closure on the cheek, which is great, however the clip part faces out, which could get hooked on a wire fence or electric fence wire. There is also a hook and loop closure above the clip near the cheek, I can see tho being easily undone by another horse. The halter size looks huge to me, almost draft size but not quite, I have a QH and I think it might be a little bit too big for him. The muzzle part is very similar to most other brands quality wise, however I could see horse who are rough on things, or have pasture mates that are rough on things, might destroy this pretty quick.

Well made product

This grazing muzzle is very well made. Due to it being winter here in Dixie we (Cutter & Passion) my Quarter Horses, have not had the opportunity to test it out

This grazing muzzle is made very well. It is sturdy and serves its purpose. The reason for the 4 stars is that in my full size horse, it seems a bit too roomy, even after making adjustments. However with that said, I would absolutely recommend this as the construction of it is better than the others I have on hand.

I really like this muzzle for a number of reasons (deep bucket, doesn't cause rubs, can easily cut breathing holes). However, I also think it could use some additional improvements (could use a strap down the front/center, tears easily, throat strap doesn't stay tight). I prefer it over the EZ-Breathe muzzles, however. Photo of how I've rigged mine. I have to put a cribbing strap over it or my Houdini has it off in .5 seconds.
