These are freeze dried duck hearts. They are ethically sourced and made in U.S.A. Decided to try this brand as it was one ingredient treats. Hearts in general are great taurine for heart and vision health, iron to boost immunity and energy, and fatty acids for a shiny coat and healthy skin. I’ve ordered 3 so far. Although they are suppose to look like whole hearts that were freeze dried, all 3 heart pouches I had purchased in 2 different orders came broken & smooshed. But it doesn’t lessen the quality of the hearts as they still work for what I purchased them for. My dogs seem to enjoy these mixed with their meals. Will purchased more in the near future.

I recently tried these Houndstone Duck Hearts Freeze-Dried Treats for my Cane Corso, Duchess (she’s about 100 lbs), and she is hooked! There’s just one ingredient — duck hearts. No weird fillers, no artificial stuff, just a wholesome treat that my girl LOVES. Duchess is pretty picky when it comes to food, but the moment I open the bag, she’s at my feet, ready for her reward. I use these mainly for training and as a reward, and I’ve noticed she stays super focused during our training sessions. The resealable bag keeps the treats fresh. We’ve only been using them for about a week, but I love that they pack so many benefits: high-quality protein for muscle support, iron for energy and immunity, and fatty acids for a healthy coat. Duchess definitely gives them two paws up! 🐾🐾

Let me start by saying that my 60-pound Labrador absolutely loves the Duck Hearts Freeze-Dried Dog Treats. There's no question that the flavor and texture are a big hit with her. That said, one issue I’ve encountered is how quickly she consumes them—there’s virtually no chewing involved. She inhales them in seconds, which makes it feel like the treats are gone almost as soon as they’re given. While I appreciate the quality ingredients, they disappear far too quickly for me to justify the cost on a regular basis. For now, I’ll be saving them for extra-special rewards rather than an everyday treat.

I have a pup that is 11 years old and has an intermittent sensitive tummy. He wouldn't even eat treats when his tummy was upset. He loved these treats! They were the perfect size and texture for him. He has allergies not to foods however he does have some skin issues when the seasons change his skin gets really red. I chose these because the package says it is good for sensitive skin issues. I didn't see any skin reaction when he ate these treats. I will definitely try other flavors!

Good treats but very oily on the hands

This is a treat that both my dogs go crazy for. One is a 5 1/2 month old puppy. The size of the duck hearts vary in the package. You can see the size in the picture

This is a treat that both my dogs go crazy for. One is a 5 1/2 month old puppy. The size of the duck hearts vary in the package. You can see the size in the picture. Most of the bigger pieces are hard to break apart.The smaller ones are good for training treats but it seems that it take a while for the puppy to chew. Also the treats are very very oily, you have to wash your hands after. That is the reason why I took one start off.

My dog really seemed to enjoy these duck hearts. They were extremely fresh upon opening, good size and quality. Some pieces are smaller than others which is interesting. Packaging could use some work. The duck hearts come in a resealable bag but my bag I was unable to open at the seal. I ended up having to cut the bag open and use a new ziplock.
