Would two 10# dogs fit in this comfortably?
Answer by ChewyJun 05, 2020
Two 10-pounds dogs would be able to fit in this stroller easily, the maximum weight is 50 pounds for this stroller.

Is this stroller large enough to put two cavalier king charles spaniels in at the same time? They are under the weight limit as they have a combined weight of about 34 pounds but I'm worried they won't have enough room.

Beautiful carrier/stroller

This stroller/carrier is great once you get to know how to work it. I have had mine about 2 years now. I got two cats comfortably in there. I only take 2 at a time to the vet anyways but with two it’s heavy so the stroller part is great. The quality is great but line I said it’s a big pain to use till you really get the hang of it. I have such a small trunk (convertible) and I need to remove the back wheels of the stroller to fit in the trunk. It doesn’t fold as small as I would like but the quality I would buy another. I am needing a double carrier stroller next so I can do all 4 cats if needed.

I’ll fix the zipper myself I guess

I purchased this stroller last year in August for my dog that was sick with cancer so that she can still enjoy family time when on walks. One year later the zipper on the front panel which we never use, is broken, it won’t stay zipped. I called to ask if there is some way we can replace maybe just the Carrier part? But no if I had called just the month before they would have replaced the whole thing too bad the zipper decided to break yesterday. I’m currently trying to stitch up the zipper so that it stays closed. Wish me luck!

The Bad Reviews Don’t Lie

I’m so sad to admit that the bad reviews are not just angry customers: Most importantly, I paid full price and received a return. It was obvious. There are scratch marks all over the handlebars, the leather is completely warped and has finger/hand imprints all over, and the stainless steel is COVERED IN RUST. It was also partially assembled which is a giveaway. I don’t appreciate being duped and paying full price for a used product. Assembly instructions are completely lacking and don’t make sense or line up with YouTube videos. It’s extremely bulky with little space for dogs. You cannot fit (2) 10 lb dogs. You can fit (1). It’s crazily overpriced. I paid $50 for my previous stroller that was ok, but far better re: price to quality ratio. Don’t waste your time or money. I will be searching for a different stroller and may donate this used stroller that I paid nearly $300 for. I’m disappointed in Chewy and I feel completely played. I don’t have the energy to upload photos now, but if I can edit my review, I will add them later.

Great stroller

Love this stroller. I take my cats for walk in it every day. It is very handy for taking them in the car and to the vet as well. All my cats love to sleep in it as well! It's easy to assemble and to pull the carrier off the stroller. The wheels have lasted very well. I live in an area with lots of rocks and dirt and it is perfectly fine going through it. The only downsides were the screen durability, cupholder, it's bulky and awkward. I saw were that my cats would scratches on chew the screen and it's held up, but it has visible wear and damage because of it. Also depending on what you put in the cupholder, I've found it will flip upside down and drop your drink. The stroller itself is so big that it can be awkward to fit through doors and in small spaces. I'm not sure if it was a product failure for all strollers but the strap with the clasp to hold the stroller closed was broken so I cannot store the stroller. Overall I am very happy with the stroller and would recommend it.

what I wish I had known

I looked at this stroller for a good year before deciding to buy. The reason I purchased a stroller is because of my an 11 year old mini doxie with back problems and with a stroller I can take her out more. I’ve had this stroller for 5 months now and I’ve noticed some practicality issues. The storage under the stroller is not accessible from behind where you’re pushing-you have to walk around to the front. As I said my dog is handicapped so if I need anything I’ve packed for her it feels awkward stopping, putting on the brakes, then waking around before I can get what I need so I can take care of her. Something that surprised me is the handle doesn’t feel very stable. It has a bit of free play even when locked in place. I think this is due to the fact that the handle moves when folding close. When paying over $200 it makes it feel cheap and that’s disappointing. Another thing I’m not the biggest fan of is the opening/closing. At first I couldn’t figure it out properly but even when I did it’s difficult. I would say this is my least favorite part. Finally, I do wish the frame would fold smaller. I’m 5 foot and it’s awkward for me to pickup and put in my car. It also doesn’t fit in my hatch area so I have to fold down a seat to put this partially in my backseat so I can close the hatch. This is probably the biggest inconvenience when I want to take both of my dogs out. If I’m taking them both out my doxie is strapped in the carrier in the passenger seat and my pointer is forced to sit on the one seat because my other seat is down to fit the frame. I do like how the carrier functions as a car seat. I have the K&H bolster seat and since I’ve gotten this stroller I almost exclusively use the stroller carrier because it just makes sense! The look is great, the nicest looking pet stroller I’ve seen. I’ve been out at a pet store and needed to go into a different store on the strip and I just throw a blanket over the carrier and it really does look like a baby stroller. Overall it’s a nice stroller and even with all the issues I’ve noticed I do like it and we get lots of use out of it. When I was looking into strollers I was between this one and a Pet Gear jogger. I'm sure between the two the Pet Gear stroller would've solved a most of my practicality issues. But for almost the same price you do get a great looking 3 in 1 and not just a stroller. Honestly if I were to do it all over again I would purchase this one. I just wanted to share what I've noticed so there are no surprises when you buy.

Back Saver for injured dog

I have a maltipoo who recently had to have surgery for a herniated disk. This stroller/car seat & pet stroller combo has been a life saver. It is well constructed and easy to operate. My little one can be close to me but yet confined where I can get work down around the house. Until my baby heals and regains the use of her back legs, she has to go to work with me. I am able to transport her back and forth easily. The carrier is large enough that I can leave her in it through my work day eliminating the need for another cage.

Cadillac of strollers

This is huge! The wheels are beefy! Good for going on grass or gravel or uneven terrain! I have a miniature pincher and could probably fit 2 more. This is great for her. I feel safe that she won't jump out. My dog is blind and deaf so is too scared to walk on a leash anymore so this is perfect for her.

Nice and sturdy, but so many little issues

This is very attractive and looks like it could provide a nice ride. But, lots of little issues. 1) The board at the bottom of the carrier cannot get wet. It is topped with a pad that is not absorbent. If my dog pees or spills wet food, the board will get wet and be ruined. Do the designers have dogs??? I can wrap the bottom in plastic; however, I dread taking the carrier apart again. 2) The snaps on the. carrier are super hard. Good for dogs that dig or pull on things. But, not good for a little old lady like me. One snap was almost impossible. I had to use my body weight to secure it. Now, I have to take it apart to wrap the bottom in plastic. Not looking forward to this. 3) The carrier sits several inches above the frame. Consequently, it wobbles. There is a lever that lets me raise the frame. But, it only locks into place when it is too low to do any good. Is this my fault??? I will call. 4) The instructions omit a lot of little things like removing the caps from the wheels before inserting. Not a big deal. The pictures are accurate. It's just a little weird. And, the carrier insert piece is at an angle. Because of this, the carrier was almost at a 90 degree angle. I finally realized that I could pull the insert piece into a proper position and the carrier is parallel to the ground. Annoying, but I got over it. 5) The bars are beautiful. They were wrapped in plastic before screws were used by someone far stronger than I am -- perhaps a machine. So, I have bits of plastic sticking out around all of the screws. Not very attractive. 6) The instructions refer to a "button" to move the handle bar from front to back. That stumped me for a long time. I kept thinking the button was as difficult as the snaps. Finally, I gave up and decided to return the stroller. That's when I noticed that the pieces of black plastic are actually slides. When I realized that, it was easy to move the handle bar from front to back. It's a slide, not a "button"! 7) When the stroller arrived, parts were inside the carrier. They damaged the foam pad. I can probably have it replaced. But, still, a piece of cardboard could have prevented this. 8) The straps for the carseat wrap around the vehicle head rest. This means the carrier will have a lot of movement on the car seat. I expected it to have a sturdy loop for the vehicle seat belt to pass through and secure the carrier to the car seat. My other car seats are all secured close to the base. This provides a comfortable ride and makes me feel safer. If the issue with the carrier rocking cannot be resolved, I will return the stroller. Hoping I can keep it because the wheels look great and there is a lot of storage. Also, I think this will protect my dog if the air bag employs.

Smooth Ride

This is a high quality product. Sturdy and well made. The tires give a smooth ride. It didn't suit my purposes, but would be excellent for a small dog to have a great ride. Putting this together was difficult because little details are not emphasized in the written material or video. Opening and folding up the stroller was very difficult and resulted in skinned knuckles, but perhaps there is a fault with mine. This is a very large stroller and carrier and as a small person found it awkward to deal with.

Necessary for pet parents with arthritis

I got the stroller because I was diagnosed with arthritis before 30. The pain has grown in recent years and I am unable to bring even one of my cats to the vet in their traditional carrier, let alone two. I absolutely love the stroller, it is extremely easy to push and comfortable on my hands. Both of my cats fit in it perfectly, one of them even likes the stroller enough to go for a little walks. The other one is very timid and I never expect him to like something like that. I wish the stroller with less expensive, but I had to have an option where I could detach the carrier from the stroller to put my boys in the car. Other than being pricey, it is perfect and worth it. For me, preventing further hand damage was worth the cost. Plus, the peace of mind knowing I am able bodied enough to get my cats out of the house if I had too is very freeing. It has happens once in the past where we had to leave in an emergency and if I had been alone the cats and I would have been stuck.
