The back has a large rear entry that is mesh and closes using velcro. The pet compartment coverts from 13 to 30 inches in length when fully expanded and 16 inches in width.

Totally satisfied

Only used once so far. 53 lb George still getting used to it. Easy to assemble wheels. Great features. Lots of storage for water bowls, water and other stuff.
