My senior cat has greatly improved since putting him on this supplement once a day. He wasn’t able to jump up on the bed but now he makes it up multiple times a day all by himself! We mix it into his wet food to get him to eat it without issue. Very impressed!

Whose Cat is This?

I was really skeptical when I read the reviews of this product if my 13 year old cat would eat this, he has a sharp nose for medication and is difficult to coerce into eating it, but at his age I really wanted to give him all the help I could with his bad hips. I’ll be honest, the first few times I gave it to him he refused, turned his nose up at all his favorite treats if they had it mixed in. But we kept on, and found a few tricks that really helped getting him to take it. First, we hid the medicine under the wet treat in his bowl, and in the process of eating the gravy or broth he would eat his medicine without realizing. Second, we realized that the medicine seems to separate a little in the bottle, and if we shook it up before administering it he was a lot more willing to eat it. Since he’s started it, it’s like 5 years have just fallen off. He runs around swatting his sister, he meows for attention, he jumps on tables and dressers with ease, it’s beyond incredible. Nothing has ever worked so well for my cat, and I’m always going to be keeping a bottle of this in stock for the foreseeable future.

There are several issues with it. Arrived in a very sorry looking, beat up box. It states to refrigerate after opening; it arrived without a safety seal, thus already opened. It looks muddy and foul. Also, the concentrations of its ingredients are different on the packaging than as stated on the Chewy page. Does not inspire confidence. Did not use; returned.

My 12 year old Pekingese has arthritis in her left arm/shoulder and limps when she gets up from a long nap. I was giving her Cosequin which helped a lot for her joint pain until she decided she didn’t like the tablets anymore. So I had high hopes for this product with it being a chicken flavored liquid. She likes the flavor but it’s not doing anything for her joint pain. Going back to giving her Cosequin and hope she’ll like the soft chew type.

After trying every possible means of trying to get my 17yo cat to ingest Glucosamine and failing miserably at all efforts, I've finally found something he will actually eat. He has been on it (a 1/2 dropper full mixed with wet food) 2 months now and is showing signs of improvement. Good product and my cat approves.
