Destructible

We bought this for our 16-month-old male Portuguese Water Dog. He absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, both legs and one arm were off within hours. There are two outer layers, which helped a bit, but in 3 days the stuffing was reached and he began pulling it out. I've taken the squeaker(s) and stuffing out but of course, now it's a lot easier to rip apart. I can't say this would be good for anyone with a dog that chews, even if they're not a heavy chewer.

Not what I hoped for

Wilson is a big boy and a very aggressive chewer but a real gentle giant when it comes to people. I read a review that these could hold up better than other toys

Wilson is a big boy and a very aggressive chewer but a real gentle giant when it comes to people. I read a review that these could hold up better than other toys for Mastiffs. For some reason he is always able to find the weak spot, usually a seam and open it up! I feel bad as I was hoping he would be a bit more gentle. This was ten minutes into his receiving it. I am hoping to find some way to reinforce the seams when I have more time.
