Not For Aggressive Chewers

I purchased the HuggleFleece Fluffer Knottie Penelope for my boy Baxter. See photo below of offender. Having taken Baxter into the vets on several occasions for ingesting ears, eyes, etc of conventional stuffed toys, it was important that the new toy be as sturdy as possible. Penelope is marketed as “Our soft and tuff combo makes this toy special protection from chewer.” As can be seen in the second pic below, it took Baxter about 15 minutes to chew a half inch hole in the arm of Penelope. Needless-to-say, I can’t take the chance that Baxter will finish the job and end up choking on a portion of the toy. This toy would be fine for my other boy, Koji, who just likes to nap on and sleep with his stuffies but it is definitely not suitable for a beast like Baxter!

our dog loves it just have to watch when he plays with it since the fluffy fur comes off sometimes in his mouth so have to take out so he wont swallow

Did not hold up

My dog had all the limbs torn off and stuffing out in less than a week. I bought this because it was supposed to be for tough chewers, but it did not hold up.

So happy I took a chance!

So I haven’t been able to get Camila a stuffed animal since she was a little puppy. She would tear through any toy in less than five minutes flat. This pig is her

So I haven’t been able to get Camila a stuffed animal since she was a little puppy. She would tear through any toy in less than five minutes flat. This pig is her baby now and she has not destroyed it! I am in shock! It’s a great sturdy little thing and I’m so glad I went with the larger size, Camila is a 75 pound American bulldog/staff/boxer mix and it’s just the right size. I’m purchasing another to have one stand by but she is really holding onto this one and not ripping it to pieces. She used to be a heavy chewer but I guess that has calmed down enough now for her to enjoy a fluffy friend!
