Are these treats cooked then freeze dried?

The ingredients are frozen at low temperatures which turns them into ice and preserves their nutrients. Then, through the process of sublimation, 99% of the moisture is removed.

I used to get the smaller chicken cubes in a bottle and when the company discontinued them I switched to these. I normally go for the cubes in a bottle because the packages allow too much crumbling and waste. These are great- my cats go crazy when they hear me pull out the bottle.

Exactly what I have been searching for...

I have two small, senior, special-needs rescue dogs that are NOT food-motivated in the least. They are not trained because I haven't found anything they considered

I have two small, senior, special-needs rescue dogs that are NOT food-motivated in the least. They are not trained because I haven't found anything they considered rewarding enough to actually behave. They shun everything I offer them, and just feeding them is a challenge. These dogs turn down filet mignon, and I am not kidding. I'm not sure what is in these treats - must be some sort of dog crack, because my dogs act like dope fiends when I pull them out. I haven't even gone thru 1/3 of them yet but I'm back for more. These are vastly superior to any other dog food, dog treat or human food that I've ever thrown at them (not literally) and I'm done looking. I have found what works for my spoiled, picky, act-like-they-never-seen-the-inside-of-a-shelter dogs and I'm not looking back. Thank you for providing these gold nuggets.

I have no idea why my cats don't like these. I swear they like to make me crazy, lol. I thought it was great that these came in the container they did as they made it through shipping in perfect condition. They feel the same as the freeze-dried chicken treats they love, yet they spit them out after putting them in their mouths. I'm honestly stumped on this one. I did buy them their favorite dehydrated chicken treats this order but they didn't make it through shipping; they're just a bag of dust now.

I got these to replace another brand that always came smashed up and like dust. I am so VERY happy I did! Because of the package you get a full tube of nice, solid chunks of chicken. All four of my cats LOVE them! I just placed an order for more. As a bonus I turned a couple of the tubes into toys. Lol. I simply put a couple jingle bells inside and the cats love rolling them all over the place!

Our dog loves these! They are nice uniform good sized chunks and they come in a nice sturdy resealable jar. These have been great for training too. These are little expense for the total ounces you get though when I compare them to other brands I have gotten in the past, but the quality and the uniformity of the chunks kind of makes up for the higher price.
