Easy, pretty & my hummers love it!
People are going to complain about anything. I’ve read some of the negative reviews. First, I purchased this identical feeder at Hamricks. It’s a very pretty feeder! I’ve had it for a year with no fading or any other issues. I fill the feeder using a funnel. Some have complained that the opening is small and hard to fill. The funnel makes it easy to fill and stops any possible spills. Also, a baby bottle brush with bristles conforms and fits nicely into the bottle for cleaning. Also, the bottom part screws on easily! You must turn it just like screwing a top onto jars etc. The threads have to line up. No big deal! It’s not difficult at all. My hummers love it and so do I !!!!!!!! I recommend!
Broken x 3
I was looking forward to getting these hummingbird feeders. I purchased three. When they arrived, 2 were broken and 1 was missing the bottom! I emailed Chewy but didn't receive a reply. I was able to mend the 2 broken with a soldering iron to but, of course, I couldn't fix a missing bottom piece. The 2 mended feeders are useable. Sadly, they are NOT easy to clean.
Do not like it
The opening to fill the feeder is very small and difficult to clean. We generally go through 5 full feeders a day in the summer. This feeder holds too small of a volume and cannot be kept clean
Humming Bird Feeder
Beautiful bird feeder and unusual feeding area. Bought this for my daughter and she LOVES it! Good quality. Chewy's delivery was super fast.
Best Humming Bird Feeder
This is the best hummming bird feeder hands down. My parents had these growing up (so functional for 20+ years). My dad was so frustrated because he could never find this style again and the best part for him is that when one bottle did break he could easily and cheaply replace the bottle with a vinegar bottle. For me I agree the red plastic part did not pop off very easily but I was running hot water over it and walked away for a few seconds and the top popped right off and never had an issue since.
Disappointed
I am sorry to say I am very disappointed with this purchase. The base did not screw on easy and when I went to hang it the base fell off, spilling all of the sugar water. I hope others had better luck as it is attractive and it holds a larger amount of sugar water.
Hummer Feeder
The hummingbirds seem to like it. However, the bottom did not come apart as it was advertised, making it harder to clean. The glass part looks like a vinegar bottle with a wrap around design. But, the birds are attracted to it.
It’s alright but no hummingbirds yet
No hummingbirds and nice glass but cheap plastic. Also no flowers that the birds can physically see.
Cheap plastic
These hummingbird feeders were not as pictured, very cheap plastic and small. Don’t bother buying them , they are definitely NOT worth the price.
Junk; plastic film
This is a glass vinegar bottle with a plastic film covering. Not at all what I thought I was getting; and I wasted money on an extra base. Do not buy this. I can't believe Chewy is selling this garbage.
