Seemed like a good idea. Worked for a while too. Then, the other family members in my house decided to keep changing the commands...until the commands were just ridiculous and the dog was confused. The good news is- with consistency, it DOES work. If your family values that consistency over humor, then this gets 5 stars.

Neat tool for learning new words

Pretty simple product for teaching your dog new words. You simply record the word/phrase into the buttons and then use them to reinforce it. It comes 14 sticker

Pretty simple product for teaching your dog new words. You simply record the word/phrase into the buttons and then use them to reinforce it. It comes 14 sticker labels for the buttons and each button takes 2 triple batteries that aren't included. Buttons have a cheap feel to them and the recording quality, while not necessarily bad, is very basic. Overall a neat tool to use.

Exciting!

I've been wanting to get my border Collie buttons for a while now. Finally pulled the trigger and while training her to them has been an adventure, I think once

I've been wanting to get my border Collie buttons for a while now. Finally pulled the trigger and while training her to them has been an adventure, I think once she gets the hang of it they will be great. I love that I can record my own voice and use what terms I want to use. They are easy to record, the sound comes out at a decent level. My dog gets very excited and picks them up and carries them around. Batteries were not included so make sure you have AAA'S ready to go. They also came with stickers so you can identify which button says what. I'm excited to work more with my dog with these.

These buttons are fun to use with your dog. We started practicing using “treat” and she learned very quick. So quick in fact we had to put the button away for a while, lol. Then we tried one by the door to see if she would learn “potty” and she didn’t get it at first but finally figured out that she will go out if she hits that button. She is 7 years old and is getting the hang of it quick. A younger dog would probably learn even faster.

I have always wanted to try these buttons. This is a set of 3 that come with “location stickers”. I opted to use “car”, “outside” and “upstairs” since those are words that are meaningful to my dog. You record your own voice saying the word and it can be re-recorded if you don’t like how it sounds. They have grippy feet so they don’t slide too much on the floor. I have gotten him to press a button a couple of times, accidentally I think, but we are early in the training process. I’m looking forward to seeing how he progresses.

These buttons are really fun! They are customizable! You can record your own words in your voice. My dogs are enjoying getting to push the buttons and talk to me. The buttons are easy to push even for small dogs. Stickers are included so you can label each button with a picture to represent the word. I can’t wait to add more buttons and teach my dogs more words!
