We recommend measuring your pet to find the perfect size. For the complete sizing chart, click the “Size” tab, next to the “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos. Click the "Size" tab, next to the "Highlights" tab, towards the top bar above the product image when viewed on the app.

Does this have a place for harness attachment on the back?

Answer by ChewyDec 23, 2025
This overall does not feature an attachment for a harness.

Will this keep my dog warm during the cold Chicago winters?

Answer by ChewyDec 27, 2020
This Dog Overall is made with Ultra Sonic quilting and a warm lining, that helps protect dogs from cold, windy weather. The material also repels water and dirt keeping your dog dry and clean.

Is there a guide available to which name goes with each color? I do not see more than two different colors pictured but there are three options to choose from.

winter dog parka

Beautiful quality but the legs were too narrow for our dogs. Return was seemless. Choosing another style.

I wanted to love this. We wanted to love this. Our puppy wanted to love this. But, alas, 'twas not to be.The proportions on this coat (18 L)are CRAZY wrong. I measured correctly, but this thing is both too big AND too small. I figured "Eh, maybe she'll grow into it." Nope. it's the right length, but hangs off her. So then I thought "I'll return it and get the smaller size." Nope. Not only would it be too short, but the opening for the paws is ridiculously small--1 5/8" across--with surprisingly little give in the elastic and no snaps for adjusting like other (much less expensive) coats have. Her paws are already teeny, but the openings are far better suited to a mouse, and a diminutive one at that. What kind of unholy, Harry Potter-esque creature was this made for, I pondered. Nonetheless, I began the unfortunate hybrid of Greco Roman wrestling and WWE Smackdown that is the process of getting her into this coat. (Please note:I was the one who got smacked down by Puppy.)But still, I persisted, because it was very snowy and I didn't want our girl to get soaking wet and have all that snow clumping on her fluffy self. But getting her paws through the openings was reminiscent of threading a very squirmy, barky, unhappy needle. And, what I had neglected to consider was that I would have to get it OFF again, and this time get it over her paws AND the clumpy snow. I had to pick off some of that snow before I could even begin the Krav Maga and Pankration redux that was extracting Puppy from said coat. I suppose I could have a tailor rip out the tight banding around the opening, and add a gusset and snaps, and ... wait a sec, did I seriously just say this? Getting my puppy's coat tailored? I just spent 92 freaking dollars on this thing and it would easily cost half that to have a tailor fix it properly! Why Hurtta, why? As Boy George once asked, Do you really want to Hurtt me? Do you really want to make me cry-y-y-y-y? Well, you did.

I was looking for something that would keep my Abba warm and clean, she is at times a free-range dog and many times needs a bath when arriving back home, her favorite thing to do is a roll in the mud/dirt (>_<) so I thought I would give this a go, its grate, it keeps her clean, warm & best of all I don't need to bath her when she gets home. I put Walkie's paw on her as well they also keep her feet clean and protected. The outfit takes a routine to put on, my girl has it down. Have your dog stand over it while it lays on the floor - front legs first back legs last, then pull it up on one side then the other- zip. Don't unzip all the way down, makes it harder to zip up. It takes me about 2 min to put this on my dog. spendy but well worth the money.

Hurtta dog snow suits

These looked really good on line, but I had such a hard time trying to put them on when they arrived, that I haven't even attempted to put them on to go outside

This overall provides good protection from the elements and warmth in frigid weather for my goldendoodle. But it's difficult to put on (put on front legs first, then by the time I get back legs into pantlegs, the front legs are back out). And if the overall is zipped all the way up, it's awkward to get to the dog's collar to attach a leash or tie-out because of the "mock turtleneck" design. And I like that it's a "casual" quilted overall as my dog is an informal sort of guy. :-)
