How do you get it on? Does come apart and unwrap to be able and to get their head and neck in it?

This wrap has one lightweight buckle that you need to turn to open/close. The chest strap is highly elastic and has a wide range of adjustments. Before trying to place on your pet, make sure the strap buckle is undone. The chest strap opens up all the way, but you have to get the dog to step into both holes for the legs, then pull the strap through an opening on the top layer.

The Best Cooling Vest

This thing is a life saver during the hot months since we don't have AC. It works so well for hours on end and it's perfectly designed that my pup can comfortably

This thing is a life saver during the hot months since we don't have AC. It works so well for hours on end and it's perfectly designed that my pup can comfortably and safely sleep in it on super hot nights. I keep one in the house and the car at all times so we're never without it. It's really easy to put on and take off, plus it's the cutest one I've found!

Too fussy, off sizing

I followed the sizing chart to a tee and yet it was weirdly ill-fitting. The strap and buckle design is clunky and hard to get on.

Fit is wrong

Unfortunately the fit on this is wrong. 64lbs barrel chested Hound/Pit Bull mix - measured him at a 28" chest, 17-18" neck - from other reviews that it stretches

Unfortunately the fit on this is wrong. 64lbs barrel chested Hound/Pit Bull mix - measured him at a 28" chest, 17-18" neck - from other reviews that it stretches out, I sized down to the 22-26" - the chest was able to fit, but the neck area was very baggy, awkward bunching of extra fabric in his armpit which I'm positive will cause rubbing as this was purchased to use under a running harness. Returned, we'll have to try a different brand. To note, I have too small of sizes in the old vest style, and they look much better in fit potential.

My dog runs hot, anything over 77 degrees and he can’t get comfortable. This vest is a lifesaver! It fit perfectly, I got the 26-30in, my boy measures at 27in and the fit is just right. The wrap and buckle design is actually genius whereas I thought it would be tedious, it actually allows for a lot mobility without it falling off, so outdoor summer adventures are still on the table! The vest does have to stay wet for it to work/cool, obviously, otherwise it would be uncomfortable. I can’t speak to the longevity of the product or how well it washes but my first impressions are that it’s a win! My dog also isn’t sopping wet underneath which I was worried about, even with pouring a little water directly on it while it was on him, I’m impressed!! And he was immediately comfortable in it and for a dog who hates clothing that is saying a lot! I’m so glad this product exists!

Purchased the Hurtta cooling dog wrap for our rescued little monster. He is 10 lbs now and I ordered the size 16-20 inch and it fit him well. Would have liked to get there old model as this style is a little hard to put on a moving unwilling pup. It does work very well to keep him cool. Very glad I bought it.

Band around body lost elasticity, fabric loosened and now hangs off the body! For this price I would expect it to last more than one summer! Disappointed.
