Anyone get the 16in and have a dog a little smaller then a full grow german Sheppard how did it fit think i measured right

I got a 16 in. for my 30 lb. beagle and it fits him perfectly. So it seems like 16 in. would be a little small for a German Shepherd, but I'm not sure how big your pup is.

How is this jacket and other jacket “rated” for temperatures. For example Columbia jackets for humans are “rated for up to -10 degrees Fahrenheit” do dog jackets work the same? What temperature is this jacket rated for?

How does the Expedition Parka differ from the Summit Parka?

The Hurtta Summit Parka and the Hurtta Expedition Parka are similar. The Expedition Parka is a new model as in 2020 it will replace the Summit Parka. The difference is the "stonewashed" exterior design of the Expedition Parka and its manual length-adjustment feature located inside the coat where it cannot get caught by branches or brush. The ergonomic and comfortable design of both coats is identical.

Is this coat too hot for temperatures in the 30s to low 50s?

This insulated parka is designed to help provide dogs from all barks of life with extra warmth in cooler conditions. It protects them from the snow, cold, and wind.

Good coat except for the belly band!

My dog is a notoriously weird size. It’s been really hard to find a coat for her. I saw someone loved these for their dachshund, so I thought, why not? Everything about this coat works well and fits, except for the belly band! If I could just tighten that back strap a smidge, I don’t think my dog would be able to sneak her legs out of the front. It doesn’t say you can do that on the guide and I’ve tried and tried. I know the size down will be too small, so I’m hoping I can finagle that strap somehow. It really is a great jacket otherwise!

The ease of dressing, my Great Dane with the parka.

This was the first time I purchased a coat for my dog. I found it easy to put on her. Also, it fits her perfectly and seems to be well insulated. From pictures I previously saw, I was a bit concerned it might get in the way of elimination on our walks, but, since the fit seems to be a good one, I doubt there will be a problem. I am having a bit of difficulty in releasing buckle around her chest, but I am hoping that, with time, that will become easier for me. I think it is a keeper parka!

I’ve been searching for a coat that will fit my miniature schnauzer. It’s been a chore but finally, a coat that fits him well and is of nice quality. I like the collar to keep his neck dry and warm. So many of the coats I tried left a lot of his neck exposed. I sized down one size based on reviews from other purchasers and it fits him well. The only minor issue is the leg straps as they hit him oddly in his hind end so I’ll probably not use them. I recommend this coat.

So nice but had to size down

Really nice quality but the 20 inch was too long for both my dogs despite being in that range. Chewy is amazing and sent me a pre paid label. Hoping the replacement

Really nice quality but the 20 inch was too long for both my dogs despite being in that range. Chewy is amazing and sent me a pre paid label. Hoping the replacement fits just right. So nice I ordered two more in the smaller size for both dogs. Can’t wait to take them on snow hikes with this. Looks excellent once the size is right. Fingers crossed! I have a cattle dog mix and a border collie. Both in the 32-35lb range.
