What is the difference between the Extreme Warmer Insulated Parka and the Expedition Parka?

Expedition Parka and Extreme Warmer have been designed to keep warm and protect your dog’s key muscle groups. Both jackets cover the legs, bum, and belly with waterproof surface material that is soft and comfortable. Expedition Parka is a perfect basic winter jacket which covers your dogs back and biggest muscles. The shell material of this jacket is made of very durable fabric. Extreme Warmer is the warmer jacket of the two as it has heat reflective foil lining, which gives significant additional warmth for the dog by reflecting the dog's body heat back. The jacket also has a hood which can be used to cover the dog’s ears. For dogs who get easily cold the Extreme Warmer would be a better choice because it offers better coverage than the Expedition Parka.

This coat covers my dog from dog from neck to tail. It’s easy to put on and has a n adjustable strap that going around her belly to keep it secure and straps that go under her back legs to keep it in place. It is 100% waterproof and keeps my pup warm and dry. There is a neck liner that can be cinched and pushed down or pulled up over part of the head. Greatest dog coat I’ve ever owned. It’s got all the features I wouldn’t except a hook to hang it up

For my very lean but long-backed border collie this jacket is perfect. First coat I have seen with adjustable back length. My dog can move easily and keep warm in sub zero temperatures. Very well made with thoughtful features to facilitate leash/harness attachment, pottying, and staying in place during wear. Best jacket yet and I have had numerous dogs and jackets over the years.

This jacket is really great for my dog. She really struggles with some of the heavier coats, but she wore this out in very cold weather this weekend and she looked super-cute and more importantly was very warm. The jacket is really easy to put on which is a plus since she hates putting jackets on. The "belt" around the waist is really nice in securing a good fit. She wore this with some boots and I felt great being able to get her exercise on this cold day.
