Hurtta Rain Blocker ECO Dog & Cat Rain Jacket, 26-in

I purchased the size 20 for my 30lb shiba inu. I knew this would be a little big for him based on the measurements but proceeded due to him being a barrel chest breed. I had previously ordered the size 20 in the extreme overall which was slightly tight. However since this is not padded/lined it was far too big. The measurements are very accurate. I contacted chewy for an exchange and they issued a refund so I could order the correct sizing. I did not find this to be overly difficult to get on my dog despite him being less than cooperative. There is a zipper that runs the entire length that if you unzip the whole way would be cumbersome to get on. I unzipped 1/2-3/4 way and put it over his head and had him step in the legs. The snaps on the legs make sure it’s fitted. The inside is a flexible rubberish material and the outside is a soft raincoat typical type material. Hurtta is a high quality brand and I have no complaints. Despite it being too large, I took him out in the rain and he was completely dry. The raincoat dried quickly once hung up. The neck adjusts completely as does the back. I had trouble getting the waist to adjust and stay in place which is why I removed a star. Overall, I’m excited for the correct size to arrive so I can use it for years to come. I love Hurtta and think this will be a nice addition to the collection I do recommend it despite the price since it’s sustainably made and Hurtta sells repair patches on their site to ensure longevity. To me, I am willing to pay more if the product is going to last me longer and I can repair it. If you can swing the price, and your dog is done growing, I would invest!
