How do you measure chest size on a cat?

Measuring your cat and dog for this harness will be the same. To get the most accurate size harness for your furry best friend, measure the girth of their chest, just behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pup's chest.

Does it have metal buckles, clips, rings, etc?

cat harness.

I foolishly didn't measure the animal due to moving......nothing is where you think it is. I sized the animal with my eyes and ordered it. Part Maine coon

I foolishly didn't measure the animal due to moving......nothing is where you think it is. I sized the animal with my eyes and ordered it. Part Maine coon cat...........large, blond male, neutered. He attacks my female to kill her. She screams. The owner came running into the area. saved all. HOWEVER, I am to watch him for eleven days in Feb. so I wanted a handle on his back so I could grab him if that happens again. The young girl (17) says its too big. he slips around in it. To return it if the company allows it. That is the reason for this letter.

Bulky

This should not be suggested for a cat. It’s way to big and bulky. Both of my cats are good on a harness and leash and there is no way this thing fits them. This

Great brand, odd size

We love this brand, but this harness was very disappointing. At the size her ribs fit, the neck was far too tight, but a size larger is much too big in the ribs

We love this brand, but this harness was very disappointing. At the size her ribs fit, the neck was far too tight, but a size larger is much too big in the ribs. Our girl has a bit of an odd shape, but other hurtta items fit well - there's just not much room to adjust the neck on this. If your dog has a thick neck, I'd recommend another brand.
