Don't waste your money on this Oral Hydroxyzine. The odor is repelling. It's sticky and gums up the syringe making it hard to administer. I washed the syringe after each dosage inside and out but that didn't help. I broke one syringe trying to get it working and unstuck. It's really hard to describe. My dog hated the taste and me for a while for giving it to her. We purchase the beef flavor so I can't comment on the chicken flavor but I would assume the liquid is still sticky. I've gone back to giving my pooch Benadryl. Works just as well and easier to get her to take it. I ordered the bigger bottleof Hydroxyzine thinking it would last longer. I was right, it will last forever as I can't use it.
I thought this chicken-flavored medicine would help my cat's cough, but upon administration, she freaked out, jumped around like a jumping bean, ran around the house, and salivated all over the floor. That was the list time she received it.
