Will this stroller work on the beach? For unpaved hiking trails?

For beach or unpaved hiking trails, it can certainly be used, but please note a few things: - The airless rubber-plastic wheels are sturdy but not “balloon” sand tires, so pushing through soft or dry sand will take more effort and may feel heavy. - It performs best on packed or damp sand and on hard-packed dirt trails rather than loose gravel or rocky terrain. - After any beach outing, we recommend rinsing the wheels and frame to remove salt and sand for longer life. If you’ll be on deep sand or very rugged trails often, you might want to consider a stroller specifically designed with wider pneumatic (air-filled) all-terrain tires.

If you're waffling on whether to drop a few hundred on this dog stroller- just do it. It's so well designed and sturdy. Both the front and back open so your dog can enter one side and exit the other without having to turn around. The top opens so they can check everything out. It has lots of ventilation and it's big enough to fit a dog bed in the bottom for extra comfort. The whole thing is collapsible and the wheels are removable so it can even fit in a small car no problem. My old girl can go everywhere now without worrying about her legs getting too tired. I love this thing!

Strollers for small dogs seem to be plentiful. But if you've got a 70+ lb dog like me that can no longer walk as far as s/he would like, you're limited to a car. Thank goodness for this excellent stroller! My bulldog with a heart issue loves this stroller and has even voluntarily climbed into it on her own! It's just what I and my dog needed! The shipping was quick - received it 3 days after ordering - which is much appreciated. Not too much to set up, either - just putting the wheels on (or at least that's what I remember). I like the fact that the wheels come off easily - will make it easier to take along on a road trip since it can be flattened down a bit. Don't get me wrong, it's still a big piece of equipment, but the fact that it can be collapsed flat with the wheels off will make it easier to pack along.

Wonderful stroller for my aged disabled cocker spaniel Ipo who has major spine problems & congestive heart failure. He loves his stroller & accompanying us on our early morning walks.
