Only problem we have is that I found out when I cut the hole for this, that my backdoor is 1/4" plywood and not a good external door. Keeps the Wyoming wind and snow out really well (though this has been a very mild winter so far), and lets my very old Ridgeback easily out at 3am and the border collie in and out as he pleases. I wish there was a way to keep the cats in, and still let the dogs out, but no pet door can do that. Only had it for a few months, so we'll see how it holds up to the traffic and weather.
Broke within a week
Looks great but broke within the first week. Husband is trying to figure out how to get the dog door to stay in its frame after it broke. Very frustrating because

Very frustrating because the item was not cheap and we literally cut a hole in our door to install it so it’s not like we can remove and return it. Highly recommend you do not purchase
Very difficult to install. The screws that came with door were wrong kind.
I was replacing same pet door with the new one. My dog has no problem with door. It broke off its hinges due to wear and tear.

Secondly, this is a durable product. Ours gets 12+hours of sun on a hot deck for months out of the year, and has held up exceptionally. Durability: 5/5 Finally, this product is repairable! Eventually, in full sun, the rubber hinges will wear out. Or, perhaps your Malinois-Shepherd decides to remove a panel with his head. Either way, the company makes kits to essentially rebuild all parts of the door for an affordable price. The repairs are simple, easy, and their customer service is top-notch, should you need them. Maintenance/repairability: 5/5. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this dog door. It is nice to have a well built product that I can easily keep running for years.

It keeps mosquitoes from coming inside during summer, but my dog won't use it! My 23-year-old cat figured it out right away, and likes it. Crazy dog

This is the only dog door I'll ever buy again. It's durable hard plastic (so the flap won't wear out or tear), heavy (so that it doesn't let the cold air blow it open in winter) and it's clear (so my dogs can stand inside and look out without putting their heads through it).
