Imatinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor prescribed to use off-label for the treatment of various types of cancers in dogs and cats (mast cell tumors, fibrosarcoma, squamous cell carcinoma, etc.). Imatinib compounded oral liquid is made specifically for your pet.

Compounded Imatinib contains the labelled amount of imatinib in the form of imatinib mesylate. A compounded preparation labeled "Imatinib 1mg" contains imatinib mesylate equivalent to 1mg of imatinib base. 1mg of imatinib base is equivalent to approximately 1.2mg of imatinib mesylate.
