About INABA

Delighting Cats Around the World

Each delicious, creamy 0.5 oz. Churu tube contains 91% moisture and only six calories – which is a tenth of the calories of a traditional dry cat treat serving. That makes them a healthy snack you can feel good about feeding your kitty!

Free From the Bad Stuff

Your cat’s well-being is important, so Churu is made without grains, preservatives, artificial colors or carrageenan. Churu does contain taurine for overall health, vitamin E for immunity and a smidge of green tea extract for an antioxidant boost.

An Interactive Treat for Cats Since 2012

Churu was designed to be fed directly from the tube to help support a strong bond between people and their cats. They can also be used to help show feral kittens and cats that humans are safe by teaching them to associate people with yummy treats instead of danger. All types of kitties will come running when they hear the rustle of these easy-tear tubes!

High in Moisture Cats Need for Health

Water is very important to your cat’s health. Wild cats stay hydrated by getting moisture from their food, but domestic cats often need extra moisture, especially if they eat a primarily dry food diet. Dehydration in cats can lead to health issues like UTIs, FLUTD and CKD. A diet that includes moisture-rich foods and treats like INABA Churu Cat Treats can help prevent dehydration.

Wholesome Ingredients

INABA’s creamy, lickable purees are made from high-quality ingredients like farm-raised chicken and wild-caught tuna.

Tasty Toppers and Snacks

Use as a hydrating, tempting topper for kibble, to disguise the flavor of medicine, or as a reward after giving pills.

Available in 19 Flavors

Whether your cat prefers plain chicken or complex flavors like tuna with bonito flakes, there’s a Churu for her!

INABA Churu for Kittens

Start the bonding process early – Churu for Kittens has calcium, DHA from fish oil and EPA for healthy development.

Fun and Functional Treats

INABA Churu for Skin & Coat

INABA has taken their original creamy Churu puree and packed it with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids to help maintain healthy skin and a shiny coat. Available in four flavors and in a 50-count Variety Jar.

INABA Churu for Hairball Control

A creamy puree treat designed to aid hairball control, this is the original Churu formula with added insoluble vegetable fiber to support healthy digestion and help control hairballs.

Questions & Answers

5 Customer Questions

Are these bites soft or crunchy

Answer by ChewyMar 15, 2022
These treats are soft.

Based on the calories per weight (1300 kcal / 1000 g (1 kg)), it seems that the treats are 13 calories per plastic tube (each plastic tube is 10 g). Is this true?

Answer by ChewyAug 01, 2021
Each piece is 13 calories. Each 0.35-oz bag contains approximately 10 pieces. The pieces vary in size so the product is figured by weight not by number of pieces.

Where are they made

Answer by ChewyMar 24, 2021
These treats are made in Thailand.

Are these cooked or heated?

Answer by ChewyJan 06, 2025
All the chicken used in Inaba products are pre-cooked.

i bought this to hide pills for my two cats. it worked exactly once and then they wouldn't fall for it again. as another reviewer mentioned, pill pockets are great for dogs but not for cats, since cats actually chew their food. my kitten DID love the treats themselves but then i opened one of the packages and found mold on every single piece. i emptied the bag into my hand and it was just mold, mold, mold... really disappointing, especially from a brand like Churu and a retailer like Chewy. i won't be buying this again.

These are life changing!

Our cat loves the tube treats but the claws come out and he holds me in place while he’s eating them, while pouring into a dish just doesn’t suit his needs well

Our cat loves the tube treats but the claws come out and he holds me in place while he’s eating them, while pouring into a dish just doesn’t suit his needs well so finding these has been so great! I started training him to let me clean his ears when they get yeasty and even though he clearly hates it, he has been an absolute 10/10 good boy knowing he’s getting these after. Just today we received some new anti inflammatory meds (those meds are $65 at the vet but $13 on Chewy, FYI) that perfectly fit inside the squishy center so we had no trouble getting him to take them and so he’s already feeling better. Not an autoship personally but I will make sure we never run out of these.

Three out of four cats agree that these treats are more important than our mamas. The fourth one has pica and eats dust, so she doesn’t count. We have NEVER found another treat that these cats go feral about the way they do with these Churu bites. Our oldest, and generally chillest, will try to eat my fingers if he decides I’m not giving them out fast enough. They’re great, the cats love them, but I’m a little afraid for my personal safety. 10/10

Pill Magic!

Wow! My little boy feline has to take high blood pressure meds and he has advancing kidney disease. So you understand that getting into a fight is not in his best interest. Churu Bites has changed both our lives for the better. I take one bite and remove half of the filling, insert the pill and add the remaining filling back into the Churu. He eats it down like the pill isn't there. Little Clinton and I are so very grateful to have this peace back in our lives. And thank you Chewy for the quick shipping.

Will eat but not a favorite

If I put out more than one kind of treat with it they did not eat this treat first.

Churu bites

My cats love churn but for some reason they don't go for the bites. Josie will tolerate them and Luca refuses them.
