Inaba Churu Chicken with Beef Recipe Dog Food Topper, 24 count

Color and texture a bit different than what we’re used to with the cat Churu toppers, and our dog doesn’t like them as much, but we didn’t want to feed him something for cats. Maybe we’ll try a different flavor. Overall we like the Churu products so we’ll give it another try.

My dog has always been a finicky eater - sometimes her food will sit in her dish all day or even into the next day before she will finally eat it. One evening her breakfast was still sitting in her bowl uneaten so I decided to try one of these toppers on it to see if it would encourage her to eat. As soon as I put the topper on the food she ate it! I would say these are Babe approved - and I'm happy to find a way to get her to eat more regularly. I don't feed her one every meal or even every day, but it is a great item to have on hand for those times when she still has food left over from the previous meal or even the previous day and I really want her to eat.

I'd seen the kitty squeeze treats before but didn't know that there were dog ones too. I don't often give my dogs toppers on their food so they were very excited when I put this on their kibble. They gobbled it right up! As the packages are small, these are super convenient to take on trips. It smelled good, no weird fake smoky smell like some foods. And most importantly my two dogs really seemed to like this. I would definitely consider purchasing these as a small treat for the dogs when we are travelling out of town.
