A healthy meal topper and 'jackpot' treat for cats

My cat didn’t know what to think about these at first, but the moment he figured out there was creamy Churu inside, he was sold. He goes absolutely nuts for them

My cat didn’t know what to think about these at first, but the moment he figured out there was creamy Churu inside, he was sold. He goes absolutely nuts for them now. Each tube has about 22 litlte Churro-filled balls it it, which seems like a lot, but the whole pack is only 13.5 calories. (For reference, my big guy is supposed to eat about 300 calories a day.) They’re super moist (70% moisture per the listing), so I like tossing them on top of his dry food to sneak in a little extra hydration. Ingredient-wise, whole protein is listed as the first two ingredients, and there’s added vitamin E and green tea extract, which is a nice bonus. Once you open a tube, you should refrigerate leftovers and serve them by the next day, per the packaging. My cat is enjoying them on top of his prescription kibble, and he loves snuffling for them on his snuffle mat!

Box is underwhelming, looks a little suspicious and undocumented. Each pouch comes with three “servings” and each serving is maybe a tablespoon. Smells like tuna, looks like pellets, ingredients are rather artificial. My cat wouldn’t eat it at all, made a gagging face. I’m happy I tried to in a separate bowl. I could even get him to eat a single pellet. The pellets are dry, but moist to the touch. Dog seemed very interested in it.

The first time I put these treat toppers on my cat's food we went to town on them. In under a minute. he ate all of them. This said a lot about this product because, my cat is a picky eater and almost never eats anything. I tried hiding them in his food, but he moved his food peddles aside and went straight for the treat toppers. I think this helped him gain about a pound because it gave him motivation to eat which is helpful because he is under weight. Would recommend!

These have become a new playtime staple for my boy. Our girl will eat them when mixed in with her food but she is generally picky. My boy on the other hand is super food motivated and will literally fly around the house and bounce of the walls chasing these around. They roll and bounce when he plays with them and he loves it. I like it because they have a higher moisture and lower calorie content then a lot of the other treats I see. The pouch is about 13 calories and theres like 20 of them in there so I grab a few of them and toss them around and its a great time.
