What is the calorie content per packet? I see it says 431 kcal/kg, 6.0 kcal/tube. Is that 6.0 kcals per packet/tube? and 431 kcals for all the packets combined?

These treats contain 6 calories per tube. This pack contains 10 tubes, for a total of 60 calories. It would contain 431 calories per kilogram.

Beware: CONTAINS CHICKEN within the ingredient "Natural Flavors"

We really hoped the Tuna and Scallop flavored Churus would be chicken-free, but Chewy team checked with Inaba and confirmed that even these Churus DO CONTAIN CHICKEN

We really hoped the Tuna and Scallop flavored Churus would be chicken-free, but Chewy team checked with Inaba and confirmed that even these Churus DO CONTAIN CHICKEN in their "natural flavors" ingredient. Even though the natural flavors are basically amino acids derived from several protein sources, none of those protein sources (including chicken) are hydrolyzed first; hence, not safe for cats with chicken/poultry allergy. In fact, none of Inaba brand product are hydrolyzed. Again, all of this was confirmed by Chewy via email (July 2025) after their investigation and contact with the manufacturer. My cats love Churu, but unfortunately we cannot serve even the seafood flavors to our one cat with chicken allergy. Just beware.
