Super easy collection
I really love everything about this product. I have 4 cats and that did make it a bit tough to catch the right one in the litter box so I knew whose sample I was
I really love everything about this product. I have 4 cats and that did make it a bit tough to catch the right one in the litter box so I knew whose sample I was collecting. Finally got the cat I wanted entering the box, so I put on the rubber glove and caught the specimen before it hit the litter (minimal litter contamination is requested for the sample). I followed the step-by-step directions provided in the kit which are really nice to have - you can’t mess it up, it’s very clearly laid out. Popped the sample in the collection tube and off it went in the mail. Waiting for results yet, but I am really looking forward to what comes back as this kitty sometimes has issues with random bouts of looser stool. Registering the kit is really easy and the website is really great for answering any questions you might have with the process. I am definitely interested in testing my other cats in the future!

My kitty suffers from allergies and I am hoping Innovative Pet Lab Comprehensive Gut Check Test Kit will provide some answers. I like that this test looks at the health of the intestinal lining and gluten reactions as well as immunity and gut irritation. I am hoping the results will allow me to change up food and help to alleviate my kitty's symptoms. The stool collection process was easy and they included everything you needed. The kit also comes with a box and mailing label. Results are available 7-10 days after they receive the sample. Registration on their website was easy.
Helpful test to try for kitties with GI Issues

I tried this test on my little megacolon kitty. After a year of vets speculating about possible causes, and her diet, I was excited to get a little more information about what is going on in her guts. The results I received actually gave me some great insight and ideas for possible paths forward. The test measured four different levels and the two that corresponded with immune responses were abnormally high. I didn't know anything about these levels before the test, but the report that came back explained everything very well. What are normal levels, what the measurements mean, possible reasons for abnormal numbers, possible treatments. It was very helpful information that gave me some new options to consider to help her get healthier. The kit came with great instructions and everything needed to collect a sample safely and easily. I collected mine on the weekend so had to keep it in the freezer until I could send it out on Monday. They let me know when the sample was received and that it could be 10-14 days before I received results. My results came back 4 days after receipt. It was an easy and educational process, and I'm very glad I tried it. If you have a cat with GI issues and are struggling to figure out what is going on, this kit might be a helpful tool to steer you in the right direction.

The Innovative Pet Lab Comprehensive Gut Check Test Kit is a great value to check for digestive issues with your cat. The sample is easy to collect & send, I am currently waiting for results. I have 4 pets, and opted to try this test with my kitty who has chronic constipation. I hope that the results I receive from this company will be helpful in guiding our veterinarian to the best treatments for him.

I was disappointed that once the lab received the sample, it was an additional six days until we received results. (Fourteen days from the time i shipped the sample
