About Instinct Freeze-Dried Raw Meals for Dogs

Complete & Balanced Raw Meals

Instinct Freeze-Dried Raw meals are minimally processed and never cooked, preserving the integrity of their ingredients and nutrients for 100% complete and balanced nutrition. Available in a variety of proteins, these freeze-dried raw meals feature 3x more real meat and nutrient-rich organs than Instinct Original kibble, for more flavor and animal protein in every bite.

All The Benefits of Raw Nutrition

Instinct Freeze-Dried Raw Meals are made with real, natural ingredients and never cooked, to retain the raw ingredients’ natural flavors, valuable antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. The result is a more nutritious, healthy food that is shelf stable and convenient—simply scoop and serve like kibble or add water for extra moisture.

Minimally Processed and Never Cooked

Eating a diet rich in minimally processed foods is just as good for our pets as it is for us. Made with responsibly sourced meat and non-GMO fruits and vegetables, Instinct raw recipes are minimally processed—and never cooked—to keep their nutrients intact. Less processed food allows better digestion and nutrient absorption, so your furry friend gets more nutrients in every bite.

The Raw Difference

Unlike traditional, cooked pet foods, raw pet food retains more important antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that are key to helping your pet live a healthier life. Common changes noticed by pet parents who feed raw include better digestion, improved skin and coat, improved weight, relief from food sensitivities, and increased energy and vitality. Feeding as little as 20% raw as part of your pet’s diet can have a positive impact on your pet’s life.

My pup liked these but unfortunately this product is too expensive for me at this time for my dog’s weight vs the product serving size

Kona is PICKY and these freeze dried pellets are easy for me to squeeze into "dust" and put over his food like a powder. HE LOVES THEM and it gets him going to eat the rest of his meal. I highly recommend them. My other dogs always get one as a treat, but they really help him take his meds and eat regularly.

My dogs LOVE this food

I actually use it as rewards and treats. I’ll mix a bit in with their kibble but they think it’s treats.

Wouldn’t even try it . . . .

I thought this would have a strong smell of fish and therefore appealing to my picky pup. He smelled it wouldn’t even try it - even when labeled as a “treat”.

We are introducing it very slow, one piece a day for 2 days, then 2 for 2 days. One pup picked the fish over the lamb at first but came back for the lamb after, she is the picky eater. The other pup isn't picky. They are up to eating 3 pieces, we use it as a topper mixing it in with the gravy from wet food adding in a little bit of water. Both absolutely love this. You really need to start slow with some dogs. We tried another brand and moved a little to quickly and they got the runs but cleared up when we backed down to one piece a day for 4 days then bumped it up to 2. Definitely buying this again and using it as a topper, it's a bit pricey to only feed this.

The choice of cooking or feeding raw was amazing to me.

My LuLu loved this. I always warmed it up w a little hot water and tried to mix it into her kibble. She always seemed to eat this first.

However, there is some beef content in this food and he is allergic to beef. Within a few weeks, he was itchy so we had to discontinue. Highly recommended for allergic
