Repackaged Pride?
By CatMom on Oct 24, 2020
I fed my cats Nature’s Variety Pride wet food and they loved it. Nature’s Variety discontinued the flavors my cats liked and may have discontinued the entire line. I spent a year trying to replace the food and haven’t really found a good substitute. I stopped buying their dry food as well because I was so frustrated. Along comes these plastic cup minced foods and I decided to give them a try. Of course my cats love them. I absolutely hate the packaging. They are impossible to open, especially first thing in the morning when I have ‘sleepy grip’. The consistency of the food reminds me of Pride. I wish I had a label to compare ingredients. Seems to be OK for diabetic cat
By PetOwner on Jan 29, 2021 Top 250 Contributor
I have a diabetic cat. This food has not adversely affected him. Will continue to buy as long as quality is kept up.

Pricy but the cats and the human are happy with the quality
By ChineseCrestedMom on Nov 10, 2020 Top 500 Contributor
No complaints from the cats or the humans. Good wet food isn't cheap and this one is on the higher end of my desired threshold, but I will keep it in the rotation because I like the company, the food, the packaging and most important, it agrees with both of my cats!

Well received
By bumonabiscuit on Sep 25, 2020
My cat really enjoys this food and seems to be energized and playful after eating this. I've ordered more and this is my new plan for the future. She eats half of the 3.5 ounce container, so one container is 2 meals for her.

Instinct minced cat food
By Sophiesmom on Apr 8, 2020
We have 2 cats, both indoor/outdoor and one loves the salmon and one loves the rabbit. And the weird thing is they seem to alternate. One of the cats is allergic to all things chicken related so finding a wet food w/o any chicken ingredients has been difficult, but Instinct is perfect for him.

Four cats, four critics. ALL love this!
By Aggie on Dec 9, 2019
We have three different rescue cats and one from a litter at a friend’s home. ALL our cats gobble up the Instinct salmon when they are fed. The minced presentation and the gravy makes this on of three favorites of theirs. Cost is reasonable and no excessive fillers!

Cat doesn't really like.
By Charlie on Aug 2, 2019
I was buying Pride by Instinct, and my cat loved those. Now since Instinct has gotten rid of Pride, I am buying the minced salmon and minced chicken but my cat turns her nose up, so I don't understand. It shows basically the same thing on the labels, but I am still having a problem getting her to eat it. I contacted Instinct and asked them why they stopped Pride and they said it wasn't being bought. I don't know why. I want them to bring it back. I may just have to go with another brand.

Great food
By limory on Aug 20, 2019
However, while the cats went crazy for it when I first started to buy it, lately they bearly give it a courtesy lick (and that is the case for all of the flavors). I'm not sure what to make of it, but I will move on to something they will eat more of.

Cats sometimes like it
By Chen on Aug 11, 2019
My two cats sometimes like it. But if I feed them this too often, they turn out to be not like it. I will still purchase this, and give them this food like every three days.
